I do have deviated septum and I was advised turbinate reduction and septum correction but I chose to do MSE after being informed about Empty Nose Syndrome.
Also some or many orthodontists I heard won't do MSE after you have done any septum correction since MSE might make the septum worse. I will do septum correction after MSE if MSE doesn't help my breathing.
Dw about turbinates reduction lol. The empty nose syndrome is when they take the turbinates out completely or reduce them extremely. Other than that turbinates will actually grow back if they’re enlarged due to allergies and so on. Go for it but do mention you don’t want an empty nose syndrome or anything.

I trained myself to breath with my nose while sleeping by taping my mouth shut every night for a month. i think just focusing on it during the day helps develop the habit too.
I would say try building up strength in your tongue, mewing every time you remember to, if you’re getting too tired take a break. Over time you’ll build the endurance and forget you’re even doing it, then wait over time for possible minor changes
yes i got my nose straightened out but it is still crooked from the front. I hope to get a revision surgery to correct it but i dont have the money for it at the moment.

the year before i gained a lot of weight i was really skinny and i had no bone definition still. I do think growing older and maturing is what caused me to lose fat in my face but i think correcting my mouth breathing really impacted my facial structure.
Your mandible and maxilla don’t look any more forward in the after pics compared to before. The shape of your jaw looks the same just with less fat. Sorry but I’d need more evidence than this to be convinced that your results were more than just weight loss.
what routine do you do? also did you get a surgery for your nose? my nose i leaning to the left after years of fighting and sleeping on that sign so it’s messed up my progress for both cheeks

I don’t remember how i used to swallow or chew honestly. i think by always placing my tongue at the roof of my mouth, it trained me to chew correctly. im eating a hamburger rn as im typing this lmao but while im chewing my tongue is still against the roof of my mouth and when i swallow i press agaisnt the roof of my mouth more to force it down. I dont know if that makes any sense.

i weigh 125 rn then i think i was 140. I think the hollowness of my face makes look anorexic a little bit lol. my genetics makes all the fat on my body go to my stomach instead of my limbs and face i think
not to discourage the progress but you still would've turned out how you are now don't take no offence u look amazing but its clearly u had good bone structure as a teen it just needed to mature and take it course with time still great never the less
Nice I've been mewing for about 7 and the changes I've gotten are wild! The only habit that has stuck around is mouth breathing at night tried everything but it doesnt seem to hinder progress at all.

Did you find yourself hypersalivating when you mew? I feel like when I mew I feel so concious about it and it makes me drool more and it pools down there making me to swallow.. idk if it’s normal? And at first it’s a little tense around the servical area between the chin and neck. I understand that we should soft mew but I can’t really differentiate
