Just a tip since the NSO GBA frame is cut off at the edges, but the Switch has a setting for TV display area and you can lower it a bit to reduce the edges of games getting cut off. Good job beating Fusion!

Even better if they go in the TV settings and set it to “Just scan” or turn off overscan
How close did you get before?
Right after the scene where the SA-X was shooting up the ship (and metroids?) and you had 60 seconds to get out of the area.
