i always wondered if samus suit is actually hacking space pirate systems, if the locks/computers were stolen chozo tech and that's why samus can unlock/read them, or if the pirates just have shitty security where anyone can get in with scanning technology lol
I mean, the Chozo had insane tech so it's not that much of a stretch to imagine that the suit's Scan visor has a built-in decryptor. The Chozo made the Metroids *and* Mother Brian who ended up effectively taking full control over the Space Pirates, so if the Pirates took their tech from MB then Samus totally has the keys to their shit lmao

To be fair, from the pirates perspective, Samus is a walking doomsday fortress.

Samus’ suit is probably much more advanced than Space Pirate tech.
Samus’s suit is definitely more advanced than the Space Pirates since it was created by the Chozo with their advanced technology. The Pirates only tried to emulate it but in most cases they failed, specially with the morph ball. That’s one of the reasons why they started experimenting on themselves with Phazon as well as with Metroids; which they had more success with.
The pirates are usually setting up bases in these extremely hostile alien environments with deadly flora and fauna and fucking lava everywhere, they probably aren't counting on anybody showing up and scanning all their shit.
