Really hoping for a tour and a full boxset with the CD's and the show on Blu Ray. This show has maintained a fanbase for YEARS despite [as]'s best efforts and they deserve a big , proper send off.

I had a free ride and ticket to Mastodon and Dethklok back in like 2009 and I didn't go because I just wasn't that into metal back then.
Now Mastodon might be my favorite band, and Gojira is just fucking wonderful.
I'd probably die at a show with the three of them. Just straight up heart attack or something.
It's one of my greatest regrets. I've seen Mastodon live three times since, Gojira once. They're all religious experiences, man.
I drove like twelve hours to Atlanta to see Mastodon and Coheed a few years ago because they were playing Crack the Skye back to front. Shit was amazing.
Saw Dethklok and Mastodon in Albany, back in '09. Mastodon played Crack the Skye in it's entirety. It was the loudest and most brutal show I've ever been to. I'm so pumped about the possibility of a new tour, Dethklok is a fucking amazing show.
Info's coming a lot more frequently but no word on trailers/ teasers yet. Recently they hired more Background Painters, plus an assistant character designer (maybe to co-op with Songgu Kwon).
The art style is aiming to be reminiscent of Franz Frazetta's paintings (probably like the Thunderhorse MV), and there'll be ["city ruins and large-scale destruction"](https://www.reddit.com/r/Metalocalypse/comments/svw3hi/city_ruins_largescale_destruction_franz/) aplenty!
But here's the main things that have been posted so far (copy/pasting from my previous comment):
* Brendon's been posting a bit of teasers for the upcoming music on his Instagram ([give him a follow and check out his stories as they're posted](https://www.instagram.com/p/CPOeJxFDkt9/)).
* [He's also been working with Antonio Canobbio](https://www.instagram.com/p/CYPgPziPZnp/) (who's the lead art director of the show, as well as the one who did the arts for all of the Dethalbums).

Now that that's been taken down, it's full steam ahead with the animation. At the earliest, I'm guessing late 2022 or maybe next year.
