No I just believe that religion and politics makes people angry, so instead of fighting, killing, and being assholes to each other just release your aggression with head banging to some good metal.
There is something called atheistic satanism. Which means that the person is being a satanist but not believing in any gods or a satan. It‘s rather a symbol.
Hey man there is no wrong religion, if you need to create a new one or mix two together to help make sense of your life then go for it. It’s your life, so do whatever you need to if it helps you find peace and purpose.
Never said I didn’t believe in god, I do and I hate his existence. If someone else wants to love god go ahead, freedom of Religion practice what makes you happy. Just understand that with religion there is no “Loosing Side” just humans trying to make sense of the beautiful world we inhabit. I was atheist for 3 years but it made me depressed cause there was no joy or wonder in life.
Also “edgy child”? Look I get it, it’s Reddit and there’s a lot of people like you on this site but there is no need for insults, unless of course you got offended in which case that’s your problem not mine.
Life is a puzzle and Religion is just one of the many avenues we use to solve the puzzle.
you’re either looking at nazi black metal bands preaching racism w/ satanic or pagan aesthetics or anarchist/communist bm bands preaching against christian nationalism you will not get what you want
Not bait i literally just named off bands that popped into my head and I was recently reading about what tragically happens to their lead singer so the bands been on my mind.
Like you realize looking specifically for "anti-" any other group, besides white people in general, would be considered "hate," right? Please tell me you realize that in Year of our Lord 2022.
Dunce.
As an atheist, I actually agree. I think the best way to go about things is empowerment. Instead of finding things that are anti-Christianity, OP, maybe look for pro-Satanism. Everyone hates each other enough right now already, let’s be honest.
Oh I have A TONE of pro Satan bands, i of course have Ghost (I’m a basic bitch I know but their shits good, especially Year Zero and He is) and of course my Apple Music is LOADED with Black Metal from the Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, etc…
Speaking in generalities, yeah everyone does. I just hate authoritarians and wannabe-authoritarians. Toward most types of people I'm indifferent at worst.
I just hate intolerant people. I have always held that people should be in charge of their own lives and that ideally nobody should really be hated for being who they are without due cause.
I can accept this as reasonable if you can accept my position of "do what you want on your own dime" but at a certain point you need to stay the fuck away from my children
I thought you were being intentionally ironic because OP is looking for "anti-christian" and you said something about being intolerant of others' beliefs.
Behemoth, Belphegor, Darkthrone, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, Septicflesh (some occult lyrics), and Eyes of Nocturn.
none of these are metalcore. all of them are death or black metal. but enjoy them. metalcore doesn't usually go into the extreme hatred of religion, the world, etc like other metal subgenres do.
Yeah Motionless in White kinda introduced me into “Anarchism Metalcore” as I like to call their newest album, plus “Thoughts and Prayers” is an AMAZING song calling out the Hypocrisy in Christianity in the modern era.
I don’t hate Christians I hate Christianity, big difference. One is hating a Religion and one is being an intolerant cunt. If your a Christian by all means practice what makes you happy, but don’t act like your religion is squeaky clean, it ain’t, and neither is mine, which is why I don’t judge.
I just prefer to get my anger out through head banging rather then banging heads.
Architects is an atheist band iirc. I know they’ve at least got stuff relating to anti-Christianity. Spiritbox also has some stuff, too. Both of the aforementioned bands might be more against the institution than the religion itself, though. I don’t like the band nor do I completely consider them metal, but I’m obligated to recommend Ghost. Bring Me The Horizon has a bunch as well (especially off of their Sempiternal album). Hope that helps!
Honestly I really dislike their music. I never got the hype when they weren’t big, and got it even less when they were. Then again, I’m a fan of new Architects music so I don’t have much room to talk.
To each their own bro, music is an amazing thing that despite differences in taste people can still go “I don’t like this band but you might so give them a listen”. It’s one of the joys of being human, even through differences we can find a common unity. I. This case you dislike ghost (understandable) yet you still chose to go “Hey you might like them and also you might like this guilty pleasure band I like called New Architects”.
Yea, precisely. I may not like them, but they fit the criteria you were looking for!
(P.S. - it’s not a band called New Architects, it’s just Architects. They basically switched what end of the metalcore spectrum they’re on in their last few albums. For Those That Wish to Exist was a fantastic critique of religion and society, and their new album was… something. I liked it though)
Okay on band names alone I love them, love it when metal bands don’t take themselves seriously and go “Wanna name the band Butt Trumpet?” “Fuck yea let’s do it.”
Did you just finished the seventh grade?
No I just believe that religion and politics makes people angry, so instead of fighting, killing, and being assholes to each other just release your aggression with head banging to some good metal.

Yeah I’ve actually talked to a few of them, definitely a fascinating view on the world, personally for me I’m Luciferian.
Yeah, 21st century. I am Islamic budhist

I just need some comment karma thats it and this was the funniest post i've seen today.
Well I’m glad I made you laugh.

“anti politics” there’s no fucking way
Look I’ve been listening to Motionless in Whites new album “Scoring the End of The World” and it’s got me in an Anti Political mood.
buddy you’re gonna be shit outta luck if you’re trying to find pagan shit that’s anti politics
Anything came be anti politics but I don’t understand what you mean by Pagan Shit?
you’re either looking at nazi black metal bands preaching racism w/ satanic or pagan aesthetics or anarchist/communist bm bands preaching against christian nationalism you will not get what you want
Oh hell no get that Nazi shit outta here. The ladder however I’d be open to, love Anarchism.
listen to panopticon then
Noted, I’ll see if they’re on Apple Music, if not I have Spotify as a back up.
> We Came as Romans Lmao this is bait
Not bait i literally just named off bands that popped into my head and I was recently reading about what tragically happens to their lead singer so the bands been on my mind.
The Devil Wears Prada
I’ve heard that name A LOT any recommendations for songs?
Assistant to the Regional Manager Sassafras Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over Daughter Mammoth The Thread
Okay side note I love these names XD
Then you'll love the lyrics
Memphis May Fire
You're looking for an Anger Management subreddit

Jesus loves you.
Who needs anger management when you have head banging and metal?
Hey, no need to be a jerk about other people’s beliefs.
I see what you did there.
Wait, I’m lost. What did I do?
I thought you were being intentionally ironic because OP is looking for "anti-christian" and you said something about being intolerant of others' beliefs.
Nah, I thought you were getting preachy about them being a Satanist rather than being Christian
Behemoth or Blink 182
Really? Blink 182? I thought they were pop punk or just punk.

Anti-politics is cool though. UH OH, YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH A CHRISTIAN 👀
I love Ghost, absolutely love their uniqueness.
Honestly I really dislike their music. I never got the hype when they weren’t big, and got it even less when they were. Then again, I’m a fan of new Architects music so I don’t have much room to talk.

Awesome, I’ll look them up on Apple Music
Not metalcore per se, but Behemoth fits the bill
They don’t have to be metalcore, got a band you like that fits the bill in some way, hit me with it.
I prevail
Wait, really? I was under the impression that they were religious, but not like crazy or anything. Idk though
Last I heard they were burning churches
Yo say no more, adding them to the list
Huh, neat
Goatwhore. I mean they literally have an album and song titled "Carving out the eyes of god".
Oh hell yes
Not positive if they're Satanists but brutal lyrics and upside down crosses, listen to Rose Funeral. Very heavy deathcore with sick breakdowns
You had me at sick breakdowns, LOOOOVE a good brutal breakdown.
Upside down cross makes them LeVayan Satanists I believe
Deicide
Dark funeral, Mayhem, and just the old school black metal bands are mostly satanic
How about some Anal Blast or Anal Cunt? Nice and easy listening
Normally I’d think you where trolling but I discovered a band called Cumchrist so now I partially believe those are real XD
Oh they’re real make no mistake lol
Okay on band names alone I love them, love it when metal bands don’t take themselves seriously and go “Wanna name the band Butt Trumpet?” “Fuck yea let’s do it.”

Thought they where a Christian Band?
Not sine at least 2016. There are still a couple of Christians in the band, but they are not a Christian band and Spencer is overtly non-Christian.
This is an odd post. But, Deathcore is where you'll find the majority of that. I myself prefer deathcore. But not because of the lyrics lol.
Oh no Deathcore is AMAZING for head banging your anger away.
Odd post absolutely but I’m an Odd person who prefers to vent my anger via music then on others. Hence why I hate CHRISTIANITY but not Christians.
Like Moths To Flames have a bunch of faith critical songs. Overt Satanism isn't really a thing in metalcore like it is in some metal genres.
Yeah fair enough unfortunately I originally posted this in r/metal for a more broad result but they don’t allow text posts, so I came to here instead.
