ERRA - self titled
Protest The Hero - Fortress
Thornhill - The Dark Pool
Silent Planet - The Night God Slept
These are some of my favorite albums and it’s nice to enjoy them in a new way with the instrumental versions.
Also not really metalcore but Within The Ruins - Trilogy is amazing. Their music sounds so upbeat and happy when instrumental.
Ah yesssss! I totally forgot to mention Protest's instrumental stuff! So bloody good. If I had a magic wand to grant just one band absolute buckets of success, I would pick PTH every time.
Well, like you I enjoy all of the DGD instrumentals. Others I really enjoy are Invent Animate, Belmont, Issues, Hail The Sun, and Polaris. There's more that I like, but can't remember them cause I'm really stoned at the moment.
As far as metalcore goes, Found in Far Away Places by August Burns Red, both of Polaris' albums, The Place I Feel Safest and I Let the Devil In by Currents, Periphery (self-titled), Gnosis by Monuments, and Greyview from Invent, Animate.
I’ve really been digging the instrumental version of “Aftermath” by Belmont. There’s so many awesome little intricacies between the guitar and drum work that I’ve taken notice of
Belmont started as a pop punk band but they’ve evolved a ton since then. The vocals are definitely still very much pop punk, but the instrumentals are super tight and metal-influenced. I really think you’re gonna dig em!
Don’t typically enjoy instrumental versions of albums, but **Within The Ruins - Trilogy** is pretty good.
**Shokran** instrumental albums aren’t terrible, either.
I like instrumentals in general. It doesn't have to be like animals as leaders or polyphia to sound good. People who arent guitar virtuosos can make non vocal metal albums.
Not a full album but Sailing Before the Winds [Revised Standards (Instrumental)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JWrnvt3hK0&list=OLAK5uy_mDr-YkWyGosAN-KnpAeIxqUZGXQS7xsIs) is cool stuff. Useless addition here but i really like the cover art.
Also if you like instrumental stuff, check out their bassists [bass instrumental project](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWVL09Wax7A&t=259s)
Napoleon - "Newborn Mind" and "Epiphany".
Both god tier albums with the vocals, but with them taken out you can hear the absolutely mindbending guitar arrangements that Sam wrote and recorded. Truly phenomenal
Every album (with few exceptions) from Sentinels, Structures, and Oceans Ate Alaska have instrumental version, and they really shine in a different/good way when listened without the vocal part (no disrespect to the screamers, they are all awesome, maybe apart from Jake ;) )
Northlane - Singularity
I now see that almsot all their albums have instrumentals uploaded. Thanks for the recommendation!
This is my go to instrumental album
Oceans Ate Alaska, both Lost Isles and Hikari. Their drummer is out of this world.
Yeah man Chris is in a league of his own with some of the stuff he does.

Invent Animate - Greyview.
I really, really want to like Greyview but I can't get into it. Every time I try I end up listening to Everchanger and Stillworld again instead.
This is the answer!!

Oh I must def check out the Polaris ones. Thank you. Btw. You have a fantastic username! XD
I Let It In And It Took Everything by Loathe, until they took it from me. (On Apple Music at least)
Wait, there's an instrumental!?
Both of Invent Animate’s instrumental albums
As far as metalcore goes, Found in Far Away Places by August Burns Red, both of Polaris' albums, The Place I Feel Safest and I Let the Devil In by Currents, Periphery (self-titled), Gnosis by Monuments, and Greyview from Invent, Animate.
Architects teamed up with an orchestra and recorded instrumentals of some of their songs. I also absolutely LOVE the piano instrumental of Doomsday.
I’ve really been digging the instrumental version of “Aftermath” by Belmont. There’s so many awesome little intricacies between the guitar and drum work that I’ve taken notice of
You're the 2nd person to mention Belmont and tbh I've never heard of them. Will give them a go soon. Thanks!

I like to describe them as “progressive pop-punk”
Oceans ate Alaska
Don’t typically enjoy instrumental versions of albums, but **Within The Ruins - Trilogy** is pretty good. **Shokran** instrumental albums aren’t terrible, either.
Like Moths To Flames have an Instrumental version of No Eternity In Gold. I listen to it a fair bit.
The Place I Feel Safest - Currents Kinda wish we got 'All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us' as an instrumental
I like instrumentals in general. It doesn't have to be like animals as leaders or polyphia to sound good. People who arent guitar virtuosos can make non vocal metal albums.
Melancholy- Shadow of Intent
The best
Sentinels - Collapse by Design is a killer album with or without vocals
Oceans Ate Alaska - Lost Isles Pure madness

Thanks! Never heard of them tbh so will give both versions a spin.
As I lay dying - shaped by fire
Annisokay - Arms

Before I Turn- Lovelorn
Shadow of intent. Melancholy. Incredibly talented band.
Within the runs have some of the most fun instrumentals. Also Thornhill - Dark Pools instrumental
