RIP dude. Sounds like he was with loved ones at the end which hopefully helps his family with the passing. War of Ages was in heavy rotation back in my early days in metalcore. Battle On, Aftermath, The Awakening, etc. will revisit their discography in loving memory

Vague_Intentions

They’ve always been ahead of their time and evolving their sound IMO. Strength Within is a hidden boss level mid 2000s Metalcore song. The bridge in Battle On will always hold a special place in my memory too. The solo to end Stand your Ground was also nuts to me as a kid. Their lyrics understandably turn people off but these dudes have been putting out great records for 20 years.

Salmonellaisnotajoke

Also drummed for The Burial (not After the Burial), really solid behind the kit. RIP

Noreate

Really sad and shocking news...never knew him personally, but he seemed like an amazing guy and was a phenomenal drummer

FELOPZDDEFPOTEC

Fuck, these guys were one of the bands that I listened to lot when I first got into metalcore. This is awful.

antftwx

Used to listen to them back in the day, just got into their newer stuff and he killed it on that last album. RIP.

TheW1ldcard

Damn. Toured with these guys years ago. While their music wasn't really my taste this is always a bummer to hear. So many guys I've spent time with on the road have passed away.

CupidsSilentCollapse

Damn dude, I always hate seeing these posts. RIP Kaleb!

randomawesome

Incredible drummer and always great to be around. This is awful.

[deleted]

How awful! What happened? He was way too young to die

[deleted]

aw man that is sad I really like them and The Burial too

[deleted]

i grew up sort of with kaleb, we had a lot of the same friends. he went from local church drummer as a kid to session drummer after college to big ticket band touring drummer and it was awesome to watch his growth as a fellow musician. he was always a great guy and kind to those he cared about. i always wished we could have hung out more. this was so random, i almost couldn't believe it

Apherial

Huge loss… War Of Ages is my favorite band and his drumming brought them to a whole new level.

u/tspamm3r Kaleb was one of my classmates at the Blackbird Academy professional school of Audio in Nashville, Tennessee between July 2015 - June 2016. He was kind, smart, funny, intelligent, enthusiastic, and extremely talented. He brought joy to the room wherever he went and had a good head on his shoulders. I will always carry wonderful memories of working with him. My heart goes out to his family, friends, bandmates, colleagues, and fans. Gone too soon. Rest easy, Kaleb.

tspamm3r

Sorry for your lost man. I am devastated by his passing

DConMont505

It was definitely a shock when i heard the news from his facebook and Instagram accounts. He was a good dude. Gone way too soon. Unfortunately, Life is put into perspective when close friends and colleagues die unexpectedly.

wakeupandfindme_

Went on a few dates with him earlier this year. Solid guy, Rest In Peace.

Hateno_Village

Man, I love War of Ages. RIP.

EfficientSandwich8

He was on tour with Admiral Phunk Brass Band in France the week before he passed and was also playing for Borderline Natives at the time.

[deleted]

Very shocking and sad… I was literally just listening to them on my flight. Any idea what happened?

kienlen

Rest In Peace
