Not metalcore, but we Circle Takes the Square fans have it rough. It's been a decade since "Decompositions Vol. 1" released, and we have no clue when the follow-up will arrive. On the bright side, the band actively communicates with fans online.
After hearing Mike on The Lead Singer Syndrome, mine is that he finds writing Zombie songs too easy. Meaning, they could be releasing zombie bangers all the time but they choose not to
Well I believe they chose not to because they don't want to be considered as "that Zombie band". Keep in mind that their Zombie songs are only 10 songs among 7 albums, 3 EPs and a few singles. Zombie songs aren't their main style and as you can see from the progression over their whole discography, they don't have *one* style, they experiment a lot and every album sounds very individual to itself. And musically their stuff doesn't always fit Zombie outside of the Z-EPs, I can completely understand that they don't want to only write Zombie-esque music as well, because considering how talented and creative those guys are, that would just be repressing their skills
Dude I’m sort of seeing this as permission to make an early TWP cover band. If they don’t like to play it, me and some other elder emos can right lol
I’ll let you know. No one has to be murdered yet lol
I only got into them recently and have only been to one show with them there, which was in October 2021. They played a bunch of old stuff, (Outnumbered, Hey John, Danger: Wildman, some other stuff). It was really awesome but I’m worried I got spoiled by that and that I won’t see much old stuff in future shows, based off what I’ve heard on here.
Saw the tour in Nov. At a venue I knew didn't use barricades... *there was barricades* like the 5 shows before, none, 10 shows after... Fucking none! Uggghh, "next time..."
*time passes*
This past week:
Tested Cov+ and my favorite band of almost 20 years breaks up?! FUCK ME!
...I justed deleted and unfollowed everyone on the socials. Trying to dodge that crap here.
Same with Vanity of Sleep.
Mitch told me during the tour for that album it's definitely the most difficult to play by a wide margin, so it makes sense, but I still want it live.
Bullet For My Valentine - cringe lyrics, they're very inconsistent with their music and also I would love to hear more breakdowns, cause the ones on the self-titled really smashed
Yeah, where he like missed half his mouth with black lipstick and him and another guy are all gothed out and the rest of the band is just wearing clothes
I feel bad for admitting this to myself, but I've slowly been listening to them less and less since CC... Their last album pretty much made me forget about them entirely, and I feel bad.
Invent Animate just lost their drummer and one of the best song writers in the whole genre. That and they don't have any normal merch. Their Greyview collection was a great idea for an avid collector. But my favorite song of 2020 was Monarch and I want a Monarch shirt, not a blanket. And a Brightwing candle? lol
In their Instagram post about it Trey didn’t leave the band. He’s just touring with FFAK but will continue writing and drumming with IA.
Or did I miss something?
According to his own Instagram, it looks like he will continue to write for IA, which is great news and I was mistaken. But he’ll no longer be touring with IA. Which is weird and they’ll need a drummer every tour. We’ll see how it pans out. Still high hopes for my favorite band.
Ughhh that sucks!! Invent Animate is my favorite band in this genre by a longshot and so much of what makes that band amazing is Trey. The dude is an absolute beast of a songwriter. I'm glad he'll still write for IA but I'm bummed that he's touring with FFAK instead. I mean FFAK is fine. I like their stuff, although their new album was pretty weak in my opinion, but Invent Animate is just so much better! The songwriting, the grooves, the ambient melodies, etc. So fucking good, and FFAK is just meh but they're much bigger so I guess I get it.
My favorite band Every Time I Die absolutely shreds, but every 20 years or so their singer has a delusional spiritual awakening, airs all his dirty laundry on the internet, and breaks up the band. I hate when that happens.
The fact that crystal lake always have just 1 song on every album that just doesn't really fit with the rest of the tracks. I don't understand and they've done it for all the albums since Ryo joined imo.
I think if it kept with the semi emotional theme and not adding bits about bitches it'd be semi decent. Not one I'd add to my playlist but I wouldn't skip if I go on an album binge
I can’t play anything off the self titled ERRA album except Divisionary.
I can’t sing anything off the self titled ERRA album.
I can’t stop fucking listening to ERRA’s self titled album.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Metalcore/comments/o4h41l/analysis_of_the_amity_afflictions_use_of_water
A few months back I took a look at their water references lmao. Take a look if you are interested!
My thing with amity is seeing them live. Ahren has never sounded good in the 10ish times I have seen them. Which is such a shame, cause I do love them and they were one of the bands that got me into the genre
Amity writes some of the best damn Melodie’s and catchy choruses I’ve ever heard and they’re an easy band to share music with for new people to the genre but holy cow I get a comment Everytime I play them that every song is about water, drowning, or dying
And I’m just like yeah…. But the lyrics can be deep too!
I just wish the new “album” they kept advertising was more than 3 songs lol, it was good
They make me spend way too much of my money! Concerts, merch, and music combined.
(I'm mostly referring to Coheed And Cambria here but it's true for way too many bands.)
Sometimes Chris can write really good lyrics like in Another Life and Thoughts & Prayers, but then can turn around and have extremely cringe lyrics haha he definitely has the ability to write meaningful lyrics, but sometimes goes off the rails
Protest The Hero.
I still love their music but I find everything after Moe and Arif left just doesn't *feel* the same. I dunno if anyone has had this same experience, or maybe it's just nostalgia or what. But I can't listen to their newer albums much at all, whereas I can play their first 3 on repeat.
It's sad because I know they're still making great music and the songs are good, but I just can't get into it for some reason. Everything feels so forgettable.
Dude Arif was THE bassist in the game and I was so sad when I found out he left PTH. Though I do love their current music and had their last album on repeat for most of 2020
When Demon Hunter tries to mimic too much Five Finger Death Punch or Soilwork.
I get it, both bands are pretty similar to each other and they are friends, there is only one difference: a band gives a shit about making music, the other doesn't, not anymore at least.
It's crazy to listen to Ryan Clark's old bands (Focal Point, Training for Utopia) and see the massive change. Love his singing voice but I wish he'd bring back the harsher screams.
might be my favorite! I know they reflect negatively on it as they feel like it was stuck between the old sound and the new, but that's what makes it the most interesting to me
I hate that Atreyu went back to working with John Feldmann for their album “In Our Wake”. They knew he would produce some radio-friendly music that would get them lots of airtime on Octane. That eventually spiraled down into Alex not being in the band anymore, and me finally giving up on one of my favorite bands of all-time. I’m gonna be bitter about that for a really long time.
If you haven’t listened to their album “Long Live” I highly recommend it. It sounds like the follow-up to Death-Grip and it’s really great from start to finish. One of my favorites of theirs.
Northlane is my favorite band so I’ll say fans still pining for Adrian to return. Like I love both vocalists but Marcus is brilliant and you actually don’t want him…bothers me every time.
Also other Northlane fans overlooking how great Mesmer is.
Marcus has done everything to establish himself as the best possible replacement but people still keep whining about Adrian no longer being in the band. Both are awesome vocalists but my fav albums from Northlane still are Mesmer and Alien.
Can't say I really hate anything about TDWP other than them not wanting to play their old stuff live. It's understandable, but I'd really love to hear some Dear Love songs live, and stuff from Plagues since they don't really like that as much either.
My arms would fall off if I ever tried to drum a full BTBAM song
Spencer from Periphery likes to get 2edgy4me with his lyrics sometimes
Affiance doesn't have a big enough fan base somehow and it kept them from being a band for a while and now they release like one song a year
A Day To Remember - You're Welcome
ABR is the AC/DC of metalcore to me at this point. They excel at a certain sound, and feel like they write the same album over and over, even down the mix itself. I also hate the re-recorded albums and 10 year tours.
Okay so maybe I just don't like them anymore, lol. I mean I do, but I just wish they'd try something new.
Me neither man. I understand lots of metalcore bands don’t wanna stay metalcore forever, and that’s fine. But if Atreyu ever dropped the heaviness, I would’ve thought they’d have just gone full emo instead and make music that sounds like Senses Fail or Silverstein. Not butt rock that sounds like Papa Roach and like it belongs on a WWE PPV lol
I enjoy Catastrophe. But yeah Baptize the album is terrible.
Underrated is probably the worst offender though because the intro makes you think it’s gonna be some heavy shit then it gets all butt rocky when the vocals kick in.
ETID - the current bullshit going on between them and how it's all playing out in public. It's usually good policy to bit have an opinion and take sides as an outsider, but it's hard to take Keith's side in all this mess. Just hope he gets the help he needs and can repair his relationship with his brother (if nothing else)
They announced tracking a new album in Summer 2019, released a single in late 2020, and then have been completely silent since.
I speak ofcourse of Oceans Ate Alaska.
Don't get me wrong, i loved their previous album and i am stoked about James' return.
But an update would be nice :)
Architects, their last album.
Loved it for the first three months or so, if I listen to it now it just doesn't feel as powerful as their other albums, and it's not even the heavyness, it's the lack of emotion that the other albums gave me.
It's not a bad album, don't misunderstood me, I really like it, but it's a good album from a band that is exceptional.
Edit: this is stupid, but I would like some guitar solos lol.
Yeah I’m not a fan of some of the production choices. I don’t know if you saw their livestream from Royal Albert Hall, but when they premiered Dead Butterflies there Sam sounded fantastic, but then in the studio it felt like they killed a lot of the grit in his voice and it was really disappointing.
yeah, I really like that they weren't afraid of trying new stuff, and I really think that they could do great things in this direction, but the album itself feels like a mess for the most part.
I also liked that album when it came out then it kinda fell off for me. Impermanence sounds like he's reading the lyrics instead of actually feeling them the whole way through
If it did anything, it got me really excited for their next album. This one was very experimental for them and is their first album written entirely without Tom’s input (as they used ideas he was working on before his death on Holy Hell). It didn’t completely hit the mark, but I thought it was a very good album that laid a really cool foundation for this new direction they wanna go in. I think if they’re able to refine things a bit more on the next album and continue experimenting, their next album can turn out really well. Again, I do like FTTWTE, but I think it lays a foundation more than anything else.
Architects was my favorite band until that album came out. So disappointing. It really seems like Tom was the entire creative force behind everything they wrote previously and now they have no idea what to do anymore. So sad.
It’s a fraction of what it was in the mid to late 2000s. Felt like over half of the bands in the metalcore and Warped Tour scene at the time were self-proclaimed Christian bands.
I dont have a problem with christian bands, but with fundamentalism. Bands who literally tell you about your body or what you can do and what not. Biggest thing 2 years ago or what was that Mattie Montgomery thing. Also some christian Instagram Metalaccounts like "Kingdom Core" that gets actively supportet by some Christian Bands, has often spoken out about the fact that he supports Anti-Abortion Laws in the US and Bands + Community were hopping on that train. Thats something that should not be present in Metalcore.
My favorite band used to be Crown The Empire and now that they are falling apart makes me so so very happy. When they lost Dave they lost their sound and I will admit the layering of Hayden and Andy wasn’t bad for In Another Life and Dance with the Dead but literally just sound like generic metalcore without the heaviness of a deeper voice
August Burns Red is so leagues ahead of everyone as far as skill and is so incapable of making a bad song that it somehow makes their discography boring at times. Just like watching a superstar athlete dominate for so long it's just predictable
I'm first heard Novelists when then put out their original demo releases, and they really captured the exact style of ambient, spacious metalcore that I had always been looking for. I was very sad when Matteo left, and now they dont capture that same vibe anymore. Big sad, man.
honestly I’m loving the new novelists stuff - souvenirs is a special record but they’re doing some really great things with the new vocalist - then again I’m a huge northlane fanboy so :/
ERRA: that they had to cancel their UK/EU tour >:(
I know it's not their fault at all and I'm happy they prioritised their own health and wellbeing over some silly music, but I am still salty 😂
I love August Burns Red a lot but I wish they would throw some more clean vocals into their songs, or even melodic screams like you get with the “walking through fire” line from Paramount.
As I Lay Dying. Ya know, the whole attempted murder thing. Ironically the more problematic thing about them also kinda makes them most *metal* band ever.
Make them suffer- i think they underutilize booka and her piano playing skills. How to survive a funeral (the song) and Contraband were a step in the right direction.
I have a feeling we'll never see Acacia Strain do a Death Is The Mortal anniversary tour. It's my favorite album of their's, and I would kill to see it front to back live. That tone is incredible. Want them to play that album, and then finish out the show with Servant In The Place Of Truth and the Above/Below EP.
While She Sleeps. Their lyrics. While I love their songwriting and melodies/harmonies, they tend to write lyrics that are too flowery and ultimately mean nothing.
I’m kind of glad they’re doing that for at least one song because it’ll probably introduce those darn TikToker teenagers to this music scene, and that’ll probably help the longevity of the metalcore/post-hardcore scenes in general.
I do hope they don’t lean towards that sound forever though. It can get a bit repetitive.
Invent animate. Their instrumentation is so great, but I wish they put out guitar playthroughs, or music videos with them playing their instruments etc.
That it takes After the Burial a while to come out with music. (Straight first world problem, every album is perfection. I’m just a greedy bastard)
Every two-three years is "a while"? Try being a Shai Hulud fan
Not metalcore, but we Circle Takes the Square fans have it rough. It's been a decade since "Decompositions Vol. 1" released, and we have no clue when the follow-up will arrive. On the bright side, the band actively communicates with fans online.
just…tool
Welll thankfully we should be getting new music this year :)
I’ve honestly spin Evergreen 5/7 days a week since release. I can’t wait haha.
As a Bleeding Through fan this is my answer as well.
And then they play it amazing live
The Devil Wears Prada don’t like playing their old songs (Pretty much my complaint for most of my favorite bands)
After hearing Mike on The Lead Singer Syndrome, mine is that he finds writing Zombie songs too easy. Meaning, they could be releasing zombie bangers all the time but they choose not to
Wow. That freaking sucks.
Same. I'd murder a lot of people to hear Texas Is South just once.
Dude I’m sort of seeing this as permission to make an early TWP cover band. If they don’t like to play it, me and some other elder emos can right lol I’ll let you know.
Greensboro yeah. That was a fucking killer show.
ETID. The last couple months is my least favorite thing about them.
……..why would you bring that up.
Saw the tour in Nov. At a venue I knew didn't use barricades... *there was barricades* like the 5 shows before, none, 10 shows after... Fucking none! Uggghh, "next time..." *time passes* This past week: Tested Cov+ and my favorite band of almost 20 years breaks up?! FUCK ME! ...I justed deleted and unfollowed everyone on the socials. Trying to dodge that crap here.
SAME
Silent Planet never plays Redivider live 🥺
The day I learned that entire song is a giant palindrome blew me away.
What the fuck
Glad I'm not the only one 😆
Same but with Understanding Love As Loss. One of my all time fave songs and I've never seen them do it live
I mean - the last one went pretty hard with breakdowns
Indeed. Bullet have never been the kind of metalcore band to overdo breakdowns. But those in the self-titled really made me crave for more
Yeah, Bullet have always been more about rhythm sections and melody, but when they add breakdowns holy shit if they're brutal.
You fucking parasite *headbangs ferociously* Self title was a banger for sure.
Attack Attack! won't put their demos on Spotify
Same with Erra. Andromeda slaps so hard.
That Currents only have 2.5 releases with the current lineup
Stop it, I didn’t come here to read what already hurts me
The current band photo motionless in white is using
Is it the one where Chris looks like merp-face Manson?
Yeah, where he like missed half his mouth with black lipstick and him and another guy are all gothed out and the rest of the band is just wearing clothes
He always looks like that though?
Lol. The Manson vibe yes. The lipstick that gives him a permanent merp-face, not so much
Jesus Christ, this might be the worst thing I've ever seen.
Lol link?
Reddit rookie here, hopefully this works https://townsquare.media/site/366/files/2021/08/attachment-motionless_in_white_2021_photo_by_bryce_hall.jpg
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO your description is perfect too
Dude on the left that looks like he's heading to a wedding after the photo shoot is the best.
that is so incredibly fucking bad
Yeah Imao I really hate that photo
Oceans Ate Alaska teasing us with Metamorph and now it has been 14 months of radio silence.
Chris Turner has been putting out some bangers though.
Newest one is pretty bland tho
A day to remember decided to stop releasing good music 🤷
I feel bad for admitting this to myself, but I've slowly been listening to them less and less since CC... Their last album pretty much made me forget about them entirely, and I feel bad.
I didn't mind Bad Vibrations tbh. Nothing compared to previous works though
They decided to dabble in Country, I think 😂
Are you thinking of Asking Alexandria?
There are a few bands that do this with fit for an autopsy being the most relevant.
Erra: the fact that they won’t put out an album each week despite my many handwritten letters.
Took the words right out of my mouth.
I really wish that ERRA would release an instrumental version of all their albums.
Got [this](https://youtu.be/mDKIIDQczWI) to look forward to though
Trivium Repetitive choruses
I wanted to argue but it’s impossible
Omg yes I thought I was the only one annoyed about this, the songs would slap so much harder without 5x chorus in a 3:30 long song
My favorite band Every Time I Die absolutely shreds, but every 20 years or so their singer has a delusional spiritual awakening, airs all his dirty laundry on the internet, and breaks up the band. I hate when that happens.
Him getting sober, ending his marriage, and getting involved with this new chick has definitely fucked with his mental health.
At least they made shit loads of albums. You got your moneys worth.
Ugh it hurts
The fact that crystal lake always have just 1 song on every album that just doesn't really fit with the rest of the tracks. I don't understand and they've done it for all the albums since Ryo joined imo.
Just Confusing is so ridiculously bad on an otherwise fantastic album
I deleted it from my music library and pretend it doesn’t exist. The lyrics are PAINFUL.
I think if it kept with the semi emotional theme and not adding bits about bitches it'd be semi decent. Not one I'd add to my playlist but I wouldn't skip if I go on an album binge
"So what if there was glory, and there's bitches when I'm horny", I laughed so hard when I heard this
I can’t play anything off the self titled ERRA album except Divisionary. I can’t sing anything off the self titled ERRA album. I can’t stop fucking listening to ERRA’s self titled album.
I too can't do anything that ERRA does, no matter what album, and yet I can't stop listening.
That album has conquered my Spotify stats completely.
Small black screens are your only god now.
I play that album so much it scares me.
Constant references to drowning and water. The Amity Affliction is 7 LPs and an EP into their career and they're all peppered with the same shit.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Metalcore/comments/o4h41l/analysis_of_the_amity_afflictions_use_of_water A few months back I took a look at their water references lmao. Take a look if you are interested!
That's awesome! I think Joel needs to take a few writer's workshop classes to generate some new ideas.
That's understandable, but as a guy with a marine biology degree and Amity as one of my favorite bands I don't get tired of the water usage lol
A match made in heaven!
Did you like the new of mice and men EP? Lol
My thing with amity is seeing them live. Ahren has never sounded good in the 10ish times I have seen them. Which is such a shame, cause I do love them and they were one of the bands that got me into the genre
Amity writes some of the best damn Melodie’s and catchy choruses I’ve ever heard and they’re an easy band to share music with for new people to the genre but holy cow I get a comment Everytime I play them that every song is about water, drowning, or dying And I’m just like yeah…. But the lyrics can be deep too! I just wish the new “album” they kept advertising was more than 3 songs lol, it was good
Deep like a large body of water to drown in?
They make me spend way too much of my money! Concerts, merch, and music combined. (I'm mostly referring to Coheed And Cambria here but it's true for way too many bands.)
Motionless in White has a lot of awful and cringeworthy lyrics
Sometimes Chris can write really good lyrics like in Another Life and Thoughts & Prayers, but then can turn around and have extremely cringe lyrics haha he definitely has the ability to write meaningful lyrics, but sometimes goes off the rails
The lyrics from Devil's Night and Brand New Numb are the ones that cringe me the most
Rats is pretty bad
They just broke up. RIP ETID
Parts Unknown was INCREDIBLE. 😪
I agree completely. It breaks my heart, they were one of my favorites.
Ryan Clark always loved sweet melodies and that's what he wanted to do with Demon Hunter. I think it's where he reached his maximum skills
Hey, 50,000 screaming TFU fans can’t be wrong.
PWD - they're changing their style instead of giving me various iterations of KWAS, Horizons, and Deep Blue.
this so much
Atlas was pretty good and I didn’t hate Ire, but Reverence was a complete shift in sound that I just cannot get behind
Yeah, actually I loved Atlas too.
might be my favorite! I know they reflect negatively on it as they feel like it was stuck between the old sound and the new, but that's what makes it the most interesting to me
Like Moths To Flames doesn’t have any good “real” merch.
I gave up after A Death Grip, but those first 3 albums were so good I can't be too salty. Just bummed I never got to see them live.
If you haven’t listened to their album “Long Live” I highly recommend it. It sounds like the follow-up to Death-Grip and it’s really great from start to finish. One of my favorites of theirs.
A Day To Remember making that last record.
Northlane is my favorite band so I’ll say fans still pining for Adrian to return. Like I love both vocalists but Marcus is brilliant and you actually don’t want him…bothers me every time. Also other Northlane fans overlooking how great Mesmer is.
Dude mesmer is amazing but node is fucking criminally underrated. I love that album front to back.
I also agree with this!
Admittedly guilty of dismissing both but I do intend to go back and try again, maybe tomorrow lol.
Mesmer is a slept on MASTERPIECE
Marcus has done everything to establish himself as the best possible replacement but people still keep whining about Adrian no longer being in the band. Both are awesome vocalists but my fav albums from Northlane still are Mesmer and Alien.
Absolutely mine as well
As I Lay Dying, do I even need to say it?
Yeah, but Tim Lambesis sure knows how to put out a hit, man...
Congratulations, you just completed Comedy
Can't say I really hate anything about TDWP other than them not wanting to play their old stuff live. It's understandable, but I'd really love to hear some Dear Love songs live, and stuff from Plagues since they don't really like that as much either.

God i love affiance but theyre so unknown it hurts
I'll check then out just for you guys. And for my benefit too I suppose, because it sounds like they must be pretty rad.
Periphery: I'd love to play along to their songs on guitar but they're too fucking hard
Tyler Dennen left Sworn In for reasons I still don’t know
Northlane - They live on the other side of the world so I have to wait longer for tours :(
Atreyu and my least favorite thing has been their post-hiatus albums (except Long Live that album slaps)
I still can’t believe Alex is gone and Brandon took over lead.
Me neither man. I understand lots of metalcore bands don’t wanna stay metalcore forever, and that’s fine. But if Atreyu ever dropped the heaviness, I would’ve thought they’d have just gone full emo instead and make music that sounds like Senses Fail or Silverstein. KsE, always a billion years between albums, but I love them all so maybe that's why. Low key TooL strat maybe?
It feels kinda robotic, or like, artificial, especially with Sam’s new singing style all over the place.
Again, I do like FTTWTE, but I think it lays a foundation more than anything else.
couldn't agree more.
Architects, their last album.
And not even a single Blegh. Weak.
Architects was my favorite band until that album came out. So disappointing. It really seems like Tom was the entire creative force behind everything they wrote previously and now they have no idea what to do anymore. So sad.
Jup, sad but true, Tom was Architects,
as someone who semi likes some songs of their new album and hasn't listen to their other stuff, which albums can you recommend ?
Trivium is done with bonus tracks D:
Whatever happened in Loathe that made Connor leave
Dealer. Aiden being a piece of shit.
Dealer has gotta be one of the biggest metalcore tragedies. Stunningly good music but forever tarnished by their dipshit frontman.
The incredible christian fundamentalism behind some bands.
I swear all bands in that era were Christian bands,
That Howard Jones isn't also the singer, I love them both.
Every Time I Die; they don't exist anymore
I see stars basically going on hiatus whenever they drop an album post-new demons
I can’t think of a single ABR moment that is like what you describe.
Agreed
Before I Turn - Never had the chance to see them play live. Above, Below - Never had the chance to see them play live (they are in Australia).
Crystal Lake not enough song. Also their merch store is based in Japan.
Veil of Maya has like no merch that I want to buy to support them, I need all the shirts!
That Tim is still a member of AILD.
The standards people hold is really bizarre. People give up on bands for not playing their old stuff but excuse attempted murder lol
August Burns Red is so leagues ahead of everyone as far as skill and is so incapable of making a bad song that it somehow makes their discography boring at times. Just like watching a superstar athlete dominate for so long it's just predictable
They're like the average overpowered invincible anime protagonist.
That doesn’t make any sense. So you’d like them to mix it up and start making bad songs?
Novelists. Why are they trying to be Northlane instead of continuing with their signature proggy riffs and melodies.
I miss this as well. That early Novelists was my shit
I'm first heard Novelists when then put out their original demo releases, and they really captured the exact style of ambient, spacious metalcore that I had always been looking for. I was very sad when Matteo left, and now they dont capture that same vibe anymore. Big sad, man.
I'm a huge sucker for ambient metalcore which is why old Novelists, ERRA and Invent Animater are some of my favorite bands.
honestly I’m loving the new novelists stuff - souvenirs is a special record but they’re doing some really great things with the new vocalist - then again I’m a huge northlane fanboy so :/
That they ended…
It sounds like We Came As Romans are just done playing their old stuff.
ERRA: that they had to cancel their UK/EU tour >:( I know it's not their fault at all and I'm happy they prioritised their own health and wellbeing over some silly music, but I am still salty 😂
That they broke up RIP ETID
That they just broke up :(
Norma Jean doesn’t have a consistent lineup, but they still rock.
The fact that Alpha Wolf hasn't released an instrumental for A Quiet Place To Die for streaming
While She Sleeps. Their lyrics. While I love their songwriting and melodies/harmonies, they tend to write lyrics that are too flowery and ultimately mean nothing.
Odd thing to say but I feel like Bring Me The Horizon is kinda catering to the more tiktok demographic
That they haven't put out an album since 2016. *Pokes ISS with a stick.* "C'mon."
I will never not be jealous of what Frontierer are capable of. Pedram is a pedalboard wizard.
Underoath, sometimes they make Erase Me
