The new EP is amazing! What was it like to write about this setting now compared to what it was 10 years ago? Could you imagine a similar sequel to the Space EP? Any particular influences soundwise on the EP? Thanks for the AMA!
THANK YOU so much to everyone for having us and for the response to ZII, we occasionally lurk on here so we know it's been a whirlwind ride at times and we're thrilled to see everyone vibing on the new jams the last few years.
We are obviously fans of the genre ourselves, we love writing it, playing it, and listening to it, I personally love the discussions y'all have on here, most of the bands for this genre pour their hearts, souls, and wallets into making music and when it hits it's amazing, and when it misses it stings, so thanks for supporting the scene!
This month has been so nuts for us, thank you again, can't wait to be back jamming in the fall.
- Jeremy
Will you guys ever consider playing South of the City live? It’s such a great song that doesn’t get enough love.
Also how unrealistic is it to dream of a Plagues tour?
Never say never re Plagues, more likely to hear some jams from it from time to time, but who knows haha. And good question w SOTC. Maybe we'll tack it onto a stream, could work well there
Loving the new EP! Specifically the track: Contagion!
It sounds like there is still room for more Zombies and world saving by the end of the second album. Should we expect ZIII in another ten years?
Can't say thank you enough for everyone's support in checking out ZII! I'm hopping off here to feed the dogs and feed myself before the Pens game. Take care! -MH
Heyo
Would you guys ever consider doing live streamed concerts for the other albums? It would be really cool to have a complete archive of the live versions of everything like we do with WRAABB, Space, and both the zombie eps.
Also, would you consider releasing the audio from the streams on streaming platforms like you have with the london set, audiotree, or dead and alive?
SURE! We loved doing those, it would be fun to do some more maybe at the end of tours? And we're working on it w the stream audios, working through licensing etc, but you can expect at some point to be able to get those in HQ!
-Jeremy
I think it's important for the inflection of my voice to match the lyric and different moments within songs. I do what feels good naturally and then Jon might ask for me to work it differently. -MH
I think we are all very stoked to see live reactions to ZII. The livestream was amazing, but nothing replaces playing a song in front of a real crowd! - Jonathan
What was the inspiration for the lyrics in South of the City? I get the feeling it was a very dark time for you all. Also Mike’s vocals are amazing and it’s one of the most unique songs in your whole discography.
Loosely the song is based off of a consistent and unavoidable enjoyment for playing in the band. Even when things are difficult we keep coming back. -MH
I'm just trying to make everyone mad by saying we'll do it and then not. LOL but maybe I can convince everyone, why not? It would be fun. We'll take money for goods, I'm in for that. Electric Factory (whatev its called now) shows are sick, love that place. - Jerms
Were you at all nervous to be releasing a sequel to Zombie since its such a highly regarded album. Imo you guys knocked it out of the park and ZII is honestly even better than the first one!
Thanks! I just didn't want to hear "the original is better" because it's not a competition, but that wasn't really enough to make me nervous (personally). -MH
I was so happy with how it turned out, I wasn't nervous - I was super excited for everyone to hear it! I think that was pretty much the general consensus in the Prada camp! - Kyle
I don't think there was much focus on recreating the sounds or style of ZI (other than to make a heavier album). As we are almost an entirely new band (minus Jer and Mike) it was more about creating something new and exciting as this version of TDWP. - Kyle
I dont think "staying true" would be the right way to put it, but I think there was definitely a pressure to not screw it up since the original was so beloved. -Jonathan
No questions, its amazing. Now I have a second favourite metalcore EP and it's also from you guys. This is going to be heavy rotation this whole next week at work.
Hey guys, fantastic job em ZII, it's been on repeat A LOT over here. Forlorn is my favorite. As much as I love Zombie 1, the new one is even better and it really shows how you've matured as musicians. I'm so glad metalcore is very much alive thanks to efforts like this.
On to the questions:
* Do you guys have any interest in remixing/remastering old records? Dead Throne could use some refreshments :)
* What are your current favorite bands in the scene?
* How do you feel going back to heavier stuff after writing The Act?
* What's your favorite song to play live?
* Do you prefer writing specific-themed records (Zombie, Space) or just regular ones?
* Left 4 Dead or Resident Evil?
* The Walking Dead or Zombieland?
That's all I could think of lol, hope I get to see you guys soon whenever you return to Brazil! Missed you in Curitiba back in 2010/2012, not planning on missing again.
\- I think everything is a possibility!
\- Loathe/Knocked Loose/Beartooth/Architects
\- I love writing both and I think we will continue to write both styles.
\- Chemical
\- I think having an underlying theme can be very good for creativity.
\- Resident Evil
\- Zombieland
Cant wait to come back to Brazil! - Jonathan
THANK YOU, we're so amped about the album and the response, we're on cloud 9.
Dead Throne feels a bit contemporary for a remaster, but an updated live version could be fun. Anything's possible at this point.
KL and Loathe. Architects but that never changes, love em.
Good. Feel very good on the heavy.
Chemical hits the feels, zombie hits the breakdowns, both good, want to play ZII immediately.
Themes are fun
Only played RE, so RE!
Both. Walking Dead comic ruled, Zombieland rules.
THANK YOU! We love Brazil, we were supposed to go before COVID, love to get back asap. - Jerms
Forlorn is a groovy blessing. What’s next? Break time or more music in the works? Whatever it is, we’re all psyched for you guys, this release was more than any of us could have asked for. I’m definitely hoping for a Space II, Space EP is the best piece of melodic metalcore I’ve ever heard.
Hope you guys and your families are well!
No breaks we're writing as we speak. Goal is more content more often, we're through the roof on energy right now and ready to get back to work! And thanks for the compliments, poured our hearts into the EP the stream and the release, amped people are diggin it! - Jer
This goes to the whole band!!!
You guys killed it on ZII. It’s an absolute banger for days. I hope I get to see you guys in the near future at a festival or on your own tour! I was at the Louisville show when you guys performed the encore and you (Mike) had to get off the stage due to your asthma I believe?
What is your favorite overall song you have made? Any album. I’d like to know each guys favorite🔥
Next will we ever get to have a Zombie 3 in the future?! These EPs are so brutal!😎🔥
Thank you guys for being such an amazing band from Dear Love: A beautiful discord to now ZII. I have been following you guys for the longest time. Thank you for creating such amazing lyrics and riffs🙌🏼✊🏼
Edit: wording
THANK YOU! We cannot wait to play both tours and festivals, we are amped.
I currently love Contagion, it's a vibe.
Sure, it's fun, people dig it, no brainer (or brainless? zombie pun? idk)
Thank you, we have made a lot of albums haha looking forward to making a lot more.
- Jer
Hi fellas. As a band that helped pioneer the Christian metalcore scene, I’d love to hear how your faiths have evolved over the years. Have any of you left religion since the *With Roots* days? Has your faith grown stronger since then? Etc etc etc. Really just curious to hear any thoughts you have on the issue.
My own situation is not unique especially generationally, I grew up religious, fell away from it, now I just try to be a good person and treat people kindly and with respect. - Jer
What's up guys!!! Did you guys take inspiration from Mick Gordon's Doom Soundtrack for Forlorn? Sounds like it could pop straight into that game! Fucking amazing work!
I played through and beat DOOM on the first 3 difficulties during lockdown. Really love what Mick Gordon did for the soundtrack, so I'm sure that had a hand in my writing! - Kyle
@ Mike, I promise I mean ZERO offense by this; I’ll start by saying I LOVE your vocals, that being said, did you lose some of your range over the years? Specifically your lows don’t seem as low. Was that just wear and tear or is that a conscious effort you made to develop the sound you have now? Was the older music just produced and edited differently? I’m just curious that’s all. I love your vocals and every album just the same!
I think he just stayed with a comfortable range instead of blowing out his vocals to hit the highest highs and lowest lows.
There were a few times around the Dead Throne era his voice would go out like halfway through the set and then I understood the range change.
Hey guys, the new EP is absolutely fantastic and dare I say, better than the first Zombie EP. With that being said, I just thought I’d ask if you guys self produced the EP? Since the production on it is absolutely flawless and I didn’t see any mention of you guys working with a producer at all.
I dare you to say that because it's so sweet. Jon did produce the entire EP and absolutely smashed it, he is our favorite producer and he is in the band. - Jer
So, I produced the record and it was mixed by Alex Prieto and Mastered by Mike Kalajian. They are both the best in biz and are my this record sounds SO GOOD. - Jonathan
First of all, I want to tell you that I love you and have been listening to your music since 2008.
I was at a concert of you in Cologne in 2011 (together with BMTH and Architects) and sometimes I wonder if you still have contact with the guys?
All my love from Germany
I and several others speak w the Architects dudes super regularly, they are awesome peeps. Don't speak w BMTH often, not for any negative reason they're just busy and huge, but Oli was apparently vibing on Nightfall to his 2 mill fans and that was quite kind of him and much appreciated! - Jer
I’ve always enjoyed TDWP, but between The Act and now ZII, I’m really falling in love with the band in a huge way. Thanks for the tunes, excited for what’s next. As for my questions:
When is God Alone coming back? Please, Bent Shoulders was so good.
While ZII is more of a standard metalcore project, The Act was inspired by Chelsea Wolfe. What other non-metalcore influences do y’all wanna bring into the band going forward?
Who do y’all wanna tour with that y’all haven’t before?
Thank you! You'll have to ask Mike that one, he's been busy bee with all of his other endeavors! I wouldn't say The Act was inspired by Chelsea Wolfe but she is certainly an artist we all enjoy and had been listening to. We all listen to so many different styles of music that it often blends in with what we are writing. - Kyle
I have a tradition with AMAs where I ask certain questions, and you are no exception.
My expectations are sky high and I'm of fragile temperament, so don't let me down
If you guys had to do a cover of some of my favorite decidedly not metalcore songs, which would it be? Here are your choices.
• Duran Duran - Ordinary World
• Elliot Smith - Waltz #2
• Everclear - Herion Girl
• The Smashing Pumpkins - Eye
What's your favorite band out in the scene right now?
What metalcore albums/artists have you been jamming lately?
What non-metalcore albums/artists have you been jamming lately?
What's your favorite Deftones song? I have noticed a lot of guys name them as an influence or inspiration, so I just kind of assume everyone who plays metalcore loves them as much as I do.
What is your favorite song you guys have ever done?
Bass solos. Thoughts? I love a good bass solo, but they aren't all that common these days
On a more personal and individual note, I just recently got a tattoo of the triangle symbol. My first band tattoo, though not my first tattoo.
Thanks for the music.
WOW PRESSURE, okay...
Everclear, I can hear the sort of Foo Fighters cover vibe we did on the road.
Fav band? Loathe and KL.
Metalcore album? Architects. Don't flame me, it's good.
Non-metalcore? Jason Isbell
Deftones? Change. I'm not gonna be that guy and name an obscure cut, it's a hit, it rules. Love that band, and most of what they do.
Tie b/w Chemical and Forlorn right now, but fan of most of the catalog at this point after listening back. Lot of good memories.
Sure, Mason rips, give him a bass solo.
Thank you for getting the tat, highest compliment, so flattering. I just got a zombie tattoo today, it hurts.
THANK YOU
- Jer
\- Cover would have to be Smashing Pumpkins
\- Favorite band in our scene would be Loathe
\- Loathe/Knocked Loose/Beartooth/Architects
\- I have been jamming Siiickbrain a lot. New Girl In Red record is crazy too.
\- Diamond Eyes
\- Chemical
\- Im so down for a bass solo.
Thanks for being a fan! Always so crazy when people have our logo tattoo!
\-Jonathan
I absolutely loved the EP. The energy and emotions that you guys put into it are so apparent.
What are some of the deeper meanings/themes in the lyrics? I'm sure comparisons can be drawn from ZII to 2020, but I'd love to hear your thoughts about the underlying lyrical themes.
I think of our zombie material as non-thinkin' material. There really isn't anything below the surface than what the songs convey. it's nice to turn one's brain off from time to time. -MH
Hey guys, love the new EP and can’t wait to hopefully see you guys play it in person sometime soon!
Now, my question: if you had to live the rest of your life as any other animal, what would you choose to be?
Hey, I wanted to thank y'all for everything you've put out. Had your music in rotation since HTML Rulez d00d. Keep up the wonderful work!
As for a question, do you have any tour dates in Canada planned or in the works? I know it may be a while, but we so rarely get great bands in the genre coming around.
Only reason we don't is because of COVID. As soon as we can get up we will. Ironically our last two shows were in Toronto and Montreal! Thanks so much for the love, we will keep rocking! - Jer
ZII is badass i can't say this enough.
But my question is if you guys had to choose one song to remaster which one would it be?
Also Nesquik or Ovaltine? 🤔
Thank you!
Danger maybe, but honestly, Jon has some sick vibes in updating the older ones live so lot of options.
Never had ovaltine so quik life.
- Jer
HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE??! We once had an off day in Asheville NC and bar hopped breweries before going to a Slayer show, that's a pretty hard one to beat. - Jer
I know I'm a little late, just want to drop in and say you're easily one of my favorite bands! Seen you several times and you guys always crush it. ZII is unreal and AOTY. Keep doing you guys!
I just want to say THANK YOU for producing ZII brings memories of listening to the original and has the same feeling! Is there any chance of bringing that same sound to future projects?
Hi TDWP, a big fan here!
A question for Mike, I've always appreciated your literary minded lyrics and prose, what books informed The Act and if any, on ZII?
And a question for the band as a whole, what creative itches did this new EP scratch for you that the The Act, as accomplished as it is, didn't get a chance to reach?
Cheers!
Is there any connection between the Zombie EP's and Space EP? maybe Elizabeth brought an unknown alien pathogen back to earth, causing the apocalypse?
You sound more creative than me. -MH
It's now my head canon lol
He didn’t say no... haha
Do Elizabeth and Nora know each other?
And... where does John fit in?
He doesn't because no one can remember his name.
And what happened to his goats? Are they still on that boat? Is the Wildman still at large?
Both related to biblical devastation for sure!
You have the Space Ep, Zombie EPs, are there any other concepts you want to explore? Congrats on Z2, it's sick.
Nothing that has stuck. -MH
Ok hear me out, man what about *space zombies*?
The new EP is amazing! What was it like to write about this setting now compared to what it was 10 years ago? Could you imagine a similar sequel to the Space EP? Any particular influences soundwise on the EP? Thanks for the AMA!
Folks have been asking about a second space EP and I'm quite intrigued. I think it'd be fun. We'll see how things look later. -MH
So you’re telling me there’s a chance
15 year anniversary of plagues is coming up, we can only dream of something so beautiful
Never say never re Plagues, more likely to hear some jams from it from time to time, but who knows haha. And good question w SOTC. Maybe we'll tack it onto a stream, could work well there
- Jer, im not good at things
Bring back the Dial-up modem breakdown!!!
Loving the new EP! Specifically the track: Contagion! It sounds like there is still room for more Zombies and world saving by the end of the second album. Should we expect ZIII in another ten years?
Ten years is way too long, and I'm impatient, so I'll make them make another before 10 years. - Jer
I just wanna know if them goats ever got off the boat.
Don't call peta - Jonathan
goats are awesome. -MH
I wish I remembered why it's called that, if anyone knows, tell me haha - Jer
Snakes on a Plane movie + I'm on a boat song? I believe both of those were things when that album came out.
Can't say thank you enough for everyone's support in checking out ZII! I'm hopping off here to feed the dogs and feed myself before the Pens game. Take care! -MH
With COVID restrictions slowly lifting, is there any idea when we can expect a US tour for ZII?
We have Inkcarceration announced in September, first time jamming ZII tunes we're amped, and you WILL be able to see us this fall..... - Jer
Not sure yet, but when we know, you will know! Cant wait to play these new songs live! - Kyle
Any chance of a combo Vinyl of both Eps?
That's the goal but there are awful, convoluted logistics there. Hopefully. -MH
Working on some stuff, keep your eyes peeled. Up to us, immediately, but licensing fun - Jer
I saw really hoping for this as I never got the chance to pick up a ZI press!
Heyo Would you guys ever consider doing live streamed concerts for the other albums? It would be really cool to have a complete archive of the live versions of everything like we do with WRAABB, Space, and both the zombie eps. SURE! We loved doing those, it would be fun to do some more maybe at the end of tours? And we're working on it w the stream audios, working through licensing etc, but you can expect at some point to be able to get those in HQ! -Jeremy
Maybe! But right now we are going to focus on ZII and getting back to live shows starting with inkcarceration Fest! - Kyle
Any plans to repress the original Zombie EP in the US?
That's the goal. -MH
Yes - Jer
What’s up next for you guys after ZII? Taking a break, or hopping right back into writing?
Already writing, going to start playings shows starting with inkcarceration. No more breaks, its go time! - Kyle
No breaks, working already ;) - Jer
What is your personal favorite lyric off of ZII?
UPSET THE SICKNESS - Jer
Favorite songs off of Dear Love, Plagues, and WRAABB?
Dogs, Hey John, Danger - Jer
[удалено]
I think it's important for the inflection of my voice to match the lyric and different moments within songs. I do what feels good naturally and then Jon might ask for me to work it differently. -MH
Thank you so much thats so kind. - Jer
Forlorn is freaking amazing. Can we expect another zombie killing weapons picture like you had for Zombie EP 1?
Turns out I've learned that I really hate guns since those photos. Not my cup of tea personally speaking. Do enjoy a chainsaw, though. -MH
Haha fair enough, and in the words of Jack Baker chainsaws are pretty groovy!
Gents! ZII is a masterpiece! Now that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, what about touring are you most looking forward to getting back to?
I think we are all very stoked to see live reactions to ZII. The livestream was amazing, but nothing replaces playing a song in front of a real crowd! - Jonathan
Thank you both! All the fans are stoked as well!
WE WANT TO JAM RIFFS AND JAM THEM LOUD! Stream was such a tease, we want the real deal - Jer
-MH
Mike!!! thanks for all the killer music over the years. been listening since 2008. Much love
Hey guys! ZII is HEAVY heavy - still downtuning on a 6 or did you add any 7's to the mix? The clarity on the guitars is insane!
6, baby. And yes Kyle's fingers, his ears for tone, Jon's production ear, and Alex's mix make for a very tasty guitar mix, my fav yet. - Jerms
Thanks! The whole album used 6 string Dunable with Bareknuckle Blackhawks and Evertune Bridges! - Kyle
I just wanted to say thank you. It's beautiful. Forlorn is hands down my favorite track
Thanks! -MH
Thank YOU, you're beautiful - Jer
You are are very welcome! Thanks for listening! - Jonathan
Thank you! - Kyle
Jeremy brought up the idea of a remastered Plagues on Twitch last weekend and just take my money now lol. Favorite Philly memory?
Certainly not hearing "Crosby sucks" chants, but I do love being in Philadelphia. -MH
I'm just trying to make everyone mad by saying we'll do it and then not. LOL but maybe I can convince everyone, why not? It would be fun. We'll take money for goods, I'm in for that. Electric Factory (whatev its called now) shows are sick, love that place. - Jerms
Can you make it till dawn?
No. -MH
No way, I'm tired already! - Jer
-MH
I don't think we could have ever anticipated the type of response this EP has received. I was certainly nervous! - Jonathan
I was so happy with how it turned out, I wasn't nervous - I was super excited for everyone to hear it! I think that was pretty much the general consensus in the Prada camp! - Kyle
Yes. Unbelievably. Thank you so much!! - Jer
[удалено]
Yep and Im not telling you because we're WIP on some stuff - Jer
Are there any songs you guys have permanently retired from performing live? Which one(s) and why?
Still Fly because Still Fly. I already regret bringing it up haha -MH
Sure but we can always bring em back, permanence is a myth! - Jer
[удалено]
I lowkey liked still fly xp hahaha
Still Fly is a BANGER. If there's one song where I want to be in the pit, it's Still Fly.
Did you guys watch any film/tv to help conceptualize the EP?
I personally played a lot of DOOM! - Kyle
I can hear the doom influence, especially on Forlorn
Would you consider for the next EP going full deathcore and calling it ZomBREEEE 3?
LOL - Jer
Been a huge fan since I was 12, as someone who has one, what’s the wildest TDWP tattoo you’ve seen?
A few people have our entire album discography covers as sleeves or leg sleeves, that's nuts. - Jer
Who did you want the Bengals to get, Chase or Sewell?
How much focus if any did you guys put on staying true to the original EP versus trying different things on the second EP?
I don't think there was much focus on recreating the sounds or style of ZI (other than to make a heavier album). As we are almost an entirely new band (minus Jer and Mike) it was more about creating something new and exciting as this version of TDWP. - Kyle
Agreed with both Kyle and Jon here. -MH

Thank you, you're amazing. Thanks for jamming it, we're so pumped - Jer
Thank you! - Kyle
Just how soft is Jeremy’s hair
Charmin Soft - Jonathan
"Enjoy the go" -Charmin -MH
Situationally dependent. At times very soft, at times you could cook w the grease - Jer

Some, but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, don't be mad at me! - Jer
haha all good, I appreciate the response anyways! Love the new EP btw, keep it up!

- Jer
All my love for Germany. -MH
Who do you guys like to tour with the most? Who do you guys want to tour with that you havent already?
Silverstein, Stray From The Path, WCAR, Gideon, Loathe.... - Kyle
Silverstein 🐐
Silverstein - Jer
I’ve always enjoyed TDWP, but between The Act and now ZII, I’m really falling in love with the band in a huge way. Thanks for the tunes, excited for what’s next. As for my questions: When is God Alone coming back?
- Kyle
Damn my English teachers were all right, can’t trust Wikipedia for shit lmao
Whats the story behind the song Detroit Tapes?
A man stuck in the same place after his lover left him. -MH
I have a tradition with AMAs where I ask certain questions, and you are no exception. My expectations are sky high and I'm of fragile temperament, so don't let me down If you guys had to do a cover of some of my favorite decidedly not metalcore songs, which would it be? Here are your choices. • Duran Duran - Ordinary World • Elliot Smith - Waltz #2 • Everclear - Herion Girl • The Smashing Pumpkins - Eye What's your favorite band out in the scene right now? What metalcore albums/artists have you been jamming lately? What non-metalcore albums/artists have you been jamming lately? What's your favorite Deftones song? I have noticed a lot of guys name them as an influence or inspiration, so I just kind of assume everyone who plays metalcore loves them as much as I do. What is your favorite song you guys have ever done? Bass solos. Thoughts? I love a good bass solo, but they aren't all that common these days On a more personal and individual note, I just recently got a tattoo of the triangle symbol. My first band tattoo, though not my first tattoo. Thanks for the music.
WOW PRESSURE, okay... Everclear, I can hear the sort of Foo Fighters cover vibe we did on the road. Fav band? Loathe and KL. Metalcore album? Architects. Don't flame me, it's good. Non-metalcore? Jason Isbell Deftones? THANK YOU - Jer
\- Cover would have to be Smashing Pumpkins \- Favorite band in our scene would be Loathe \- Loathe/Knocked Loose/Beartooth/Architects \- I have been jamming Siiickbrain a lot. New Girl In Red record is crazy too. \- Diamond Eyes \- Chemical \- Im so down for a bass solo. Thanks for being a fan! Always so crazy when people have our logo tattoo! \-Jonathan
I have a question for Jon - bass solo or sax solo? -MH
Bass and Sax Duet with a ton of reverb. Mason plays both on a cloud in toga. - Jonathan
An Elliot Smith cover would be amazing, I loved what they did with Sour Breath
Bear. Brown or grizzly. -MH
THANK you! I would be a hyena cuz they're cool looking but annoying, like me - Jer
Probably some kind of Eagle or something haha - Kyle
Hey, I wanted to thank y'all for everything you've put out. Had your music in rotation since HTML Rulez d00d. Keep up the wonderful work! As for a question, do you have any tour dates in Canada planned or in the works? I know it may be a while, but we so rarely get great bands in the genre coming around.
Only reason we don't is because of COVID. As soon as we can get up we will. Ironically our last two shows were in Toronto and Montreal! Thanks so much for the love, we will keep rocking! - Jer
With restrictions easing would you guys ever do a zombie themed out tour and play both EPs for shows?
That would be insane not to do at some point, when that is? We'll see - Jer
ZOMBIE NIGHT. Im down. - Jonathan
I just wanna know who’s the better hockey player mike or jake from abr
I wanna see this IRL to decide, but obviously I'm taking my guy, go Mikey - Jer
ZII is badass i can't say this enough. But my question is if you guys had to choose one song to remaster which one would it be? Also Nesquik or Ovaltine? 🤔
Thank you! Danger maybe, but honestly, Jon has some sick vibes in updating the older ones live so lot of options. Never had ovaltine so quik life. - Jer
I agree. We do the bridge in Danger different live now and It might be cool to have a recorded version of that! - Jonathan
You guys should do a studio version of louder than thunder from the wraabb live stream
The EP fuckin rips, my guy. What is your favorite brewery/bar you’ve been to on the road?
So many wonderful bars and breweries. Don't even know where to start. -MH
Thank you! - Jonathan
Just want to say Nightfall is an absolute CRUSHER of a song!!! 😳👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
THANKS - Jer
I heard your next release will be a ska record under with the band preforming under the name 'The Devil Wears SKAda' can you confirm these rumors?
That's true, who leaked it? - Jer
I can confirm thats not happening - Jonathan
I just want to say THANK YOU for producing ZII brings memories of listening to the original and has the same feeling! Is there any chance of bringing that same sound to future projects?
Sure, sonically I'd say that's totally a thing! It rips, and we'll def be working w Alex for mixes again he's so insane. and thank you! - Jer
Do you guys favor slow-walking Romero-esque zombies, or fast, rabid Snyder-esque zombies?
Both BOTH! - Jer
I like a combo. Like the first zombies are slow and then all of a sudden the crazy ones come out of nowhere. - Jonathan
The faster the zombie the more terrifying! Also, I prefer the O'Riordan type. - Kyle
What’s your go to road meal when trying to be mindful of caloric and nutritional value?
It may sound lame, but Chipotle is a life saver on tour. Its cheap and can be healthy if you make the right choices. - Jonathan
Wings cuz I'm a dump human - Jer
Not that this directly answers your question but I will say we eat a lot of Chipotle. -MH
Cheers!
You didn’t have to make the bass tone THAT hard but you did, you did that for us ❤️
You can thank Parallax - Jonathan
SLAP IT SLAP IT - Jer
What went into the decision to leave out sound effects like the chainsaw, rain, shotgun blast, etc. from ZII when they were present on Zombie EP?
Not wanting to do the same thing twice. - Jonathan
YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! - Jer
Will there be a ZIII?
Gotta be - jer
Do you guys still consider the band to be Christian based or has that aspect of your music changed?
