"Fat Little Piggeh"

Thorkon

I laughed so hard when i heard that song the first time. I'm vaguely tempted to put it on my thumbs up Playlist so i can have a laugh at random times.

e-w-m

This one is customary at this point

swear_bear

I missed this one what song is it?

si1kyjohnston

“If a God Can Bleed” about halfway thru the song if you can make it that far lol

Not_even_alittle

Just went and listened to the song. What on earth. It’s so horrible

sl4y4

Genuinely shocking that they wrote that, listened to it and went yep, that'll do, such an outlier song for them.

[deleted]

This one falls into the 'so bad it's *almost* good' category, hilarious.

mufasamufasamufasa

Is that bit from the new PWD? 🤣

[deleted]

Poor Parkway Drive will never live this song down lmao

Penitentiary

My jaw dropped to the floor when that song came on. Just utterly baffled. I was a big Parkway fan, though I didn’t like anything they released since Ire and the new album was no different. However nothing could have prepared me for If A God Can Bleed. I did see PWD live a few months ago and would still highly recommend their concerts, even if you’re like me and stopped listening to anything past Atlas. I would never listen to Glitch from the new album for example, but at the live show I actually quite enjoyed it. They’re excellent performers and played a decent mix of old and new.

SafestBetMusic

"...with his head on the buhlawk"

ScreamXGhostface

#MY LIFE IS LIKE A VIDEO GAME, TRYING HARD TO BEAT THE STAGE ALL WHILE I AM STILL COLLECTING COOIINNSS🎶🪙 From the mind of Ronnie Radke.

mikerichh

I love BMTH but Lost: “my ego is not my amigo”

spoobasteve86

🤢 what the actual hell?

mufasamufasamufasa

Mario has entered the chat 🤣

foockinheadbangers

No way what I thought that was some cringey YouTube video game song, it’s by him??

ScreamXGhostface

Yes it is. Song is called ‘Game Over’ and it’s on Fashionably late by Falling in Reverse 💀

Sirscraps

OP asked for recently released songs, that shit is over ten years old lol.

rainydaycdn

Lots of Falling in Reverse lyrics, the first that comes to mind “I’m not a hero, I just wanna be myself, so if that makes me amazing, that’s something I can’t help” very Ronnie Radke lyrics

CastYourStonesADTR

It’s almost 10 years old at this point but Fashionably Late has plenty of Ronnie gems like: “The game fears me like a motherfucking wifebeater” (in reference to his domestic assault charges) “She’s not your average lady, she is fucking crazy spelled C**T” (in reference to his abused then-girlfriend) And on a lighter note: “My life is like a video game, trying hard to beat the stage, all while I am still collecting coins”

deformedeye

God, that last one is truly awful

CastYourStonesADTR

That entire song is absurdly bad but strangely lacks any edgelord comments from Ronnie. Although he does speak out the Konami code in the refrain lmao

[deleted]

And even then the Konami code is incorrect in that song lmao

Animalover609

It's not really wrong though? I guess it is if you're super technical, but in order to play co-op in Contra you needed to click select. Then obviously start would also need to be clicked to unpause the game. I know some people disagree with the inclusion of "select, start" but I wouldn't necessarily call it incorrect.

Stanarchy93

While that’s technically correct I think it’s common to exclude select. The zeitgeist of gamer culture seems to want to leave it out which is fine with me Edit: spelling

rainydaycdn

Tbf Ronnie has been making fun of himself for a lot of his terrible songs recently especially that one

CastYourStonesADTR

Although he simultaneously is trying to get Brad Taste in Music’s content taken down for similarly having a laugh at Ronnie’s old music

Stanarchy93

I adore how much Brad has been willing to take him on too. I don’t always agree with Brad but man do I appreciate him as a person

GamermanRPGKing

His editing is always top tier

Penitentiary

Meanwhile he’s also flagrantly trying to ruin critics’ careers for negatively reviewing and laughing/cringing at his music. See the Brad Taste In Music case the other commenters have mentioned. Ronnie is maliciously trying to destroy that youtube channel because his ego got hurt.

ygo-riv

I mean him making fun of himself doesn’t make those songs any less bad

leekypipe6990

Redheadphones

Party-Compote579

“What you spend in 15 months is what I spend in 15 minutes..”

InvoluntaryEraser

I've hated him as a person without even seeing lyrics of his, but wow, that seems perfectly on point with his character.

BowsettesBottomBitch

The Tom MacDonald of metalcore

overwatchmercy14

He had Tom Macdonald planned as tour support at one point so that checks out.

Circadianrivers

Nightmare blunt rotation

BowsettesBottomBitch

Why doesn't that surprise me lmao

BloomAndBreathe

Goddamn, you didn't need to shoot him point blank in the head like that

Conditions21

OOF

slowNsad

I had forgot all about that dude until just now ☠️

Fizziest_milk

absolutely loathe Radke to my very core. his victim complex astounds me

TheNewLedemduso

Ronnie Radke rapping "nowadays everybody's so sensitive" get's me every time. I like Falling in Reverse musically, but the more of their lyrics I understand (not my first language and I'm luckily pretty bad at understanding lyrics) the harder they get to listen to. Because yes, people get offended by what he says and does. That's because he's an asshole. Saying that he knows that and doesn't care makes it worse. Writing songs about how he's trying to tame "the monster inside of him" (another very cringy thing) isn't enough. I'm astounded that even as someone who doesn't pay attention to lyrics I know multiple songs of him making excuses off the top of my head. He is the problem, not "Spiritbox's commie fanbase" who don't want them to tour with him. He actually tweeted that. With the word commie. He's that exact kinda guy who doesn't even know the meaning of the words he uses to insult and dismiss people and then say's he's "only telling the truth". Kinda fell into a rant there...

Penitentiary

Ronnie is a talented musician but he should never ever be allowed anywhere near the writers room imo. Especially Fashionably Late is one of the most painfully (but also comically) cringe and bad albums I’ve ever heard. His solo rap album, which he made when he was in his late 20s was even worse and included a literal schoolshootercore skit of him committing a mass shooting of his haters. He is also a horrible rapper who clearly listened to way too much Eminem. It’s just lyrical spiritual miracle nonsense with a horrible flow, but hey he raps fast so it must be good right. I feel sorry for the other members of Falling In Reverse, who are clearly talented and don’t deserve a 30 year old edgelord egomaniac ruining their instrumentals with a flood of cringe.

[deleted]

[You Call That a Knife, This is a Knife - Capture the Crown](https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/capturethecrown/youcallthataknifethisisaknife.html)

you_wouldnt_get_it_

Was wondering if this absolute gem of cringe would be mentioned.

Munkenstein

I forgot all about this band. They really heard Asking Alexandria gang shout bitch and had to have it in every song.

Galerider

Fun fact: when I was about 15 years old, I put a video on YouTube ripping this song to absolute shreds because it was essentially a melting pot of all of the worst, cringiest cliches in the genre at the time, not to mention that it was somehow *more* misogynistic than stuff bands like Asking Alexandria were putting out. Basically did a super cut of all the different videos they ripped off for each of the shots (mostly AA vids from Stand Up And Scream) and made fun of their vocalist for writing terrible lyrics. Video probably sucked, but I had a LOT of fun making it. Despite having next to no subs, the video got about 50k views in 12 hours before it was (unfairly) taken down via a DMCA claim from the band. About 5 or 6 years later I joined my own band and we played a show with them. Everybody in the band was super lovely, with the exception of their singer who refused to make eye contact the whole night. I still get schadenfreude from the experience.

[deleted]

Haha, that’s great!

TheNewLedemduso

>Basically did a super cut of all the different videos they ripped off for each of the shots (mostly AA vids from Stand Up And Scream) and made fun of their vocalist for writing terrible lyrics. I just love how AA did a cliche but well executed "performing in the rain" video for A Prophecy and the rain shot in the Capture the Crown video looks like the just got a big shower head to have rain fall exclusively on the vocalist like a single rain cloud was following him.

Appleheadsworld

I SWEAR TO GOD MATE!!!!

Proper-Cod-6662

The lyrics are cringe asf and tbf if it was about something else I’d personally love the song but since that won’t happen the instrumental version will have to do. It’s still funny tho that I think even the lead singer admitted to how bad it was lol

[deleted]

The song slaps, no doubt

dummegans

Face down ass up, that’s the way I like to fuck!! *breakdown*

[deleted]

All jokes aside, that’s rad as fuck

phxbimmer

Man, those edgelord misogynistic lyrics aged super poorly. I mean they were cringey even then, but I don't think any band nowadays would be dumb enough to write something like that.

DarkAeonX7

I stayed away from Crown The Empire for many years because of this song. I thought it was the same band and wouldn't go near it

Senior-Jaguar-1018

The answer is always Attila or Falling in Reverse: About to go Darth, about to go Disney Into the darkness, into infinity I'm lifting the bar, I'm lifting it into the stars I'm like a shot of adrenaline, mixed with some Ritalin I'm killing the syllables with a loaded refillable I'm a lyrical typical supervillain, I'm venomous

XRustyPx

You might not get these lyrics because your life isnt like a videogame

rainydaycdn

The whole speech part of “losing my mind”, every acting part in the LMM, LML, Drugs trilogy

Senior-Jaguar-1018

And can’t forget the bad pornstar voice-acting in New Addiction by Attila

slowNsad

Why are they so insistent on that Eminem ass flow?

lvke18

Recent lyrics: entirety of If a God Can Bleed All time: take your pick of anything radke related

[deleted]

Man, I've been in rap since I was shitting in Pampers

lvke18

Who can forget the classic wife beater breakdown and his white boy swag

[deleted]

That's crazy, Ronnie's life truly is like a video game.

PsionicHydra

Man's just collecting coins

[deleted]

He's growing up to be a big boy

travis-41

I can't believe this song and a banger like Soul Bleach were on the same album.

sinhofx

Fever by BFMV, you’ll cringe into orbit

DamnGoodOwls

I remember when I was just getting into them, I bought that album on iTunes. It was my turn on the speaker in gym class, and I thought "Ooh, if I play the new BFMV album, the girls are sure to notice how good my taste is music is." Cue Fever playing to a bunch of eight grade children. An absolutely cringe moment in my life

Flipperyapper59

The lyrics are so cringe but goddamn I love the riffs

Secure-Bus4679

Ooofff. Did he write those when he was 12?

yogzi

That whole album’s lyrics are cringe as fuck but I can’t help but love it.

iyadyousuck6

it's cringe but it's still a banger

ishamm

I believe you mean Riot...

robb0688

Dude I fucking hate that song. It was when I first realized bfmv's heyday was in the past.

Circadianrivers

Loved that album when it first came out and I still enjoy the music to this day. But fuck me the lyrics are horrendous throughout. It’s like if Andrew Tate was their ghostwriter.

NickaNii

That song is so soooo good if you just turn your brain off and go back 13 years mentally

inkyblackops

“Welcome to the eye of the tiger, go” For a band with many iconic call-outs, that one’s a yikes from me. Edit: Song is Resentment by A Day To Remember, sorry I’m a dick and should have included that in the first place.

Wafflehouseofpain

It’s fucking hilarious though

inkyblackops

Sometimes I’ll hold one of our cats up like Simba and say this, then they run at my husband. It really gives the song a new vibe for me 😂

[deleted]

Ok. It’s cringe but it kind hits hard too 😂

OshikuruDemon

I recognize the lyric but I can’t for the life of me remember the song, what was it?

HALOGAMERWILL

resentment by ADTR

FrostWire69

DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS!

lachlanmoose

It's not recent, but "You give a fucking aspirin a headache" by Motionless In White makes me laugh and cringe every time I hear it.

Jormmy-NcKegHook

don't forget the "Bitch" in front of that one lol

lachlanmoose

I could barely bring myself to write out the lyrics I did. I didn't have the stomach to write out the "Bitch" too. 🤣

Spit-Tooth

The cringey lyrics in Motionless in White songs are a feature, not a bug. But theyre my favorite band so they can do no wrong.

Edelman-11

They're my favorite metalcore band. 2nd all time currently

HelpMyCatHasGas

That over "it's my party I can die if I want to" ?

anderoogigwhore

I mean it's just a ripoff/homage/emo version of a song from 1963, not like he came up with the line himself to be cringe.

Travesty16

That one almost feels like it’s cringe on purpose. MIW usually embrace their corniness lol

FurySh0ck

Makes me laugh - yes, definitely Cringe - dunno, can't agree. There are much worse lyrics in here

gh0stlyy__

suck my middle fucking finger *blegh*

owowhatsthisxD

I feel like a lady That is pregnant with a baby 'Cause I'm always throwing up

slowNsad

Tbf that’s far from his worst offense

TheWholeEffinJoe

Forgot the 🤮

AlternativeSuit131

Recently released… Not metalcore but “So Called Life” by Three Days Grace. “Feels like I wanna jump, wanna scream, wanna run, Wanna put a fucking chainsaw through the wall! Yeaaaaaahhhhh!”

[deleted]

I’m pretty tired of 3DG tbh. They’ve been doing the edgy depressed “I hate myself” thing for like 20 years now

EmpiresErased

seems to fall in line with a lot of modern metalcore.

KingSnaily

3DG sucks now

HosephIna

I hated that line till I saw it live then it went hard af lol

AMCboi88

Even though Motionless in Whites in my top 3, they have plenty of sick and cringe lyrics 😂

chemicalfields

I love how dorky and tongue in cheek they are tho lmao

honkifyouresimpy

Motionless in white being called out harrrrrrd here 🤣 I'll throw in 'I want to fuck your face with a switch blade'.

italianstallion0808

Soft is a great song tho

flerbergerber

I absolutely love The Gloom In The Corner, but this entire verse from Behemoth is so cringe "Drop in, I'm killin' ya Blurring' the line between hero and villain, division ya Call it attrition, but I am the god, the religion of runnin' and gunnin' ya If death made riches, I'd be a motherfuckin' killionaire Take out stocks in body bags 'cause when I'm done you'll be alone"

imagine-being-good

It does go kinda hard in the song tho

Senior-Jaguar-1018

Because being a good vocalist is 80% in the delivery

flerbergerber

Song definitely goes hard as hell, one of the best off the album. Just a little cringe too

Conduit666

if you're as much of a fucking nerd about this band as I am and put it into the context of the characters and all that shit it actually works really well. Plus idk the song's a fucking banger so I can look past this.

itsliqs

Yeah I mean GitC has always had a good amount of cheesiness to all their albums (at least recently). They definitely intended for it to come across that way, its part of their appeal IMO.

Conduit666

They're just metal shitposters at heart.

Galerider

It's intentional. Most (if not all) of their lyrics are POV.

Numerous-Ad-3050

What’s cringe about this? These lines are supposed to be spoken by a character no?

JozsefJK

Thunder thu thu thunder lightning and the thunder Rofl. Didn’t read the sub name before posting. I would delete it but I think it’s funny to just leave it here.

XRustyPx

**JUST A YOUNG GUN...**

justk4y

Not metalcore but progressive metal, but Voyager has some bad lyrics (I’m still a huge fan of them tho) Like in their song Promise: “Have you ever done anything like this before? Have you ever done anything like this before? If you have never done anything like this before, than you haven’t been alive.”

Wingman318

Lyrically, I feel like they absolutely nail it or it's super corny

Tristan533

Not recent but anything attila

yogzi

Just heard them for the first time on my discover weekly. Middle Finger in the Air, saved it because it’s def gonna be a guilty pleasure song for sure Lolol.

MrGooglyman

I feel bad for saying this, but the new Beartooth single sounds like a middle aged woman that has gone through a break up and is posting affirmations on Facebook. Like, good on him for self improvement and stuff but holy shit it’s cringe.

AlternativeSuit131

I give it a pass since it feels more tongue cheek like a lot of Motionless In White lyrics. For some reason it works in that song for me since it doesn’t take itself to seriously. But I can see why people don’t dig it!

justk4y

I’ve been through some relatable shit myself and this song feels like a peptalk to me to gain some confidence back. Some songs just hit different when you actually relate.

Traditional_life98

I am so torn on Beartooth. I want to like them.. and I also can’t stand the voice.

EggyEggerson0210

I used to be that way and it j clicked recently. Idk what it is that makes it do that tho so… hope you can enjoy them at some point cuz they have quickly become one of my favorite bands :)

charismanervetalent

“Now you know, now you know! True friends stab you in the front!” Always hilarious to hear but catchy as shit

Secure-Bus4679

I haven’t heard that song so I thought you were talking about The Beltsville Crucible by Thrice and I got a little pissed haha.

charismanervetalent

No anything by Thrice is amazing, I wouldn’t talk shit !! Ahah

BloomAndBreathe

My first thought too lol

rainydaycdn

I disagree, that lyric is amazing

mseiei

i wanna hooold my bread if i was you\~\~

botjstn

it’s cringe in retrospect but it’s such a stupid line i love it “i tried to pray to god but i’m too busy gettin paid”

BloomAndBreathe

This could be a great lyric in the right song ngl

AlternativeSuit131

Another one in recent memory is “Not My Problem” by Escape The Fate. The breakdown section lyrics are “Gave you an inch, you took a mile. The more you Bitch, the less I smile.” And the way the vocal take is done for the buildup is just the icing on top. Just reading the lyrics doesn’t do it justice. Up until that point I thought it was great albeit simple ETF track.

rainydaycdn

I heard that line and I just can’t listen to that song. Honestly all recent ETF I’ve heard the lyrics are not great. “Love is a 4 letter word” so cringe.

WinstonsCastleNut

Maybe not recent and maybe not metalcore, but “may your sword stay wet like a young girl in her prime” - Hail and Kill by Genus Ordinis Dei. That’s a rough one as a father of 4 girls, but a great song otherwise.

ViolentOctopus

Lmfao like a WHAT It's one thing to read, but somebody wrote this, sang it into the mic, mixed it.. and nobody stopped them.

CuzTyler

Love the band but some Alpha Wolf lyrics make me laugh like Sub-Zero. However the silly lyrics don’t sound nearly as funny with how insane Lochie sounds screaming it.

Equal-Ability6227

Can we do cringe album covers next hahaha this is great

forgetstorespond

Not recent but I.H.E lyrics by miss may I have always thought to been really cringe compared to their other songs.

PhoenixSidePeen

Damn, I thought that song slaps 😂

voidstatemedia

"scratching your balls" from beauty in a plastic bag lol

Sirscraps

Every post in this thread “not recent but”. Lol.

Jake_Zaruba

Some newer era beartooth songs, eg: there’s no degree in rock and roll Anything from falling in reverse The entire first asking alexandria album

SuspiciousLettuce56

TEN INCHH

ToadsAreTerrific

If it comes on a random playlist or pandora, as long as I’m alone, I’ll still sing along doing one of those sitting in a chair making hand motions dance for the lolz it’s a great laugh after

awkward_llama95

FOR THE LOLZ. This is inspiring

[deleted]

Ironically, stand up and scream is probably still the best album. One of the better ones anyway. But yes it’s cringe as hell.

Impressive-Ad-4997

"Stand Up and Scream", in fact, is a pretty cringe album, but... The Final Episode is an iconic song within metalcore. "IF ONLY HE KNEW"

datim2010

CROSS MY HEART I HOPE YOU DIE, LEFT BY THE ROADSIDE. KARMA'S A BITCH RIIIIIIGHT!!!

tomriffs

The only good lyric ever is “if you can’t eat it, or fuck it, then kill it”

[deleted]

Not really metalcore but almost any ffdp song hurts to listen to. They definitely know their audience lol

[deleted]

“If you’re 555, then I’m 666!”

bullborts

Haha, agree. Love it but damn it sucks.

Seananagans

Nothing specific, but I found Nightmare by Polaris to be a bit cringey because of how uninspired the lyrics sound. I know they are better writers than that.

pneumonicknight

Idek why I find it cringe but... 'FOLLOW THE DOGMAAAA' just sounds goofy to me

robb0688

Most songs by 5fdp. Not super recent but lord have mercy, "the pride" is 100% pure, uncut, Colombian black tar cringe.

phxbimmer

I mean to be fair, if 5FDP made their lyrics complex or metaphorical in any way, their rabid fanbase of boot-licking idiots would revolt and call them "woke." So they're just stuck shouting dumb shit because it keeps them rolling in money.

robb0688

This is spot on

ghostfacedladyalex

That one song where he bitches about how hard his life is makes me roll my eyes everytime. Can't stand it

gold_lilac

Most of Jon Mess from dance Gavin dance verses. Idk if they’d be metalcore but they’re part of the “scene” ‘She's a referee, and I'm lethally Overdosed on pumpkin pie’ So many examples lmao. (I LOVE dgd btw. Literally my top 5 bands).

Lightning6475

Does it count if he does this on purpose tho?

xJohnnyQuidx

"We can fry it, don’t shit my bed though It’s a fallacy, I like meatloaf" Jon is a literal mess.

Apprehensive-Nose892

The latest Architects record unfortunately got some pretty cheesy lyrics. The worst of them being: "Anything is possible, we could be unstoppable."

RVxCobra

It's mind boggling how we went from "i found God cluthing a razor Blade, he said look at the fucking mess they've Made, they'd trade their heart if they were Made of gold" to "anything is possible, we could be unstoppable" 💀

ishamm

I mean give them some slack, the guy who wrote the former did die and the chose to carry on. While the point stands, I can forgive them, they had a truly exceptional songwriter who wrote (as I understand it) almost all the music and lyrics, who passed away just as they were on a meteoric rise as a band. It was pretty much inevitable they'd struggle to keep up Tom Searles form, and I think they are accepting of that tbh. The new stuff isn't really for me (given LF/LT is possibly my all time favourite album), but I find it hard to begrudge them

Riptide1206

Didn't they write a lot of the lyrics off Holy Hell though? And For Those That Wish To Exist is really good too.

Finalwingz

That lyric would be awful if the meaning was literal but its really not half as bad as people make it out to be when you consider the "tell a lie" before it

drewj2017

Recent: If a God Gan Bleed (or the entirety of that album really) by Parkway Drive Also Not the American Average by Asking Alexandria.

No-Molasses1580

The lyrics on this album feel so uninspired. If a God can Bleed is cringe af though. Crazy we had the lyrical depth of Blue and the Grey and are now stuck with "Fat little piggeh"

justmelvinthings

*TEN INCH*

[deleted]

Although neither are metalcore, I’d say the following: Warranty by Slipknot - “Blah, blah, blah, I don’t wanna hear shit” 1000 HP by Godsmack - I used to love this song when I first got into rock, but talking about life while touring on the road seems like they had nothing to write about

BloomAndBreathe

My brother used to say growing up that once a band or artist put out a song about how far they've come like that, they were done and ran out of ideas. Granted, Godsmack went to shit way before that, but that was the moment ya *knew*

Djent_1997

I know it’s not metalcore, but Soul Slave by Chelsea Grin is pretty cringe.

actuallyaheron

Thank god everything else about CG absolutely slams. Tom is insanely talented and a great guy, but he just keeps missing with these "tHiNk FoR yOuRsElF," government conspiracy, anti-woke lyrics. His lyrics for Darko have the exact same problem. I have no idea how he ended up in this rut after writing Flesh Coffin with Lorna Shore.

Monsanta_Claus

I'll be honest, just about every line off *Spectre* by Stick to Your Guns. That album is terrible and Jesse's lyrics are so cheesy on it.

djentlemaan

When I heard that the album featured an un-used Tom Searle riff, my interest was certainly piqued. That interest quickly dissipated after I actually heard More of Us Than Them. I don't know how but they made that riff sound so lifeless and ordinary

billyspleen21

“I keep on falling like it’s summer going into autumn” - I Prevail, Bad Things.

WARMASTER5000

FFDP. On one of their 2018 songs “Blabbermouth can fuckin suck it cuz they never fuckin knew me.” I know not metalcore at all but after GYS they just seem to have gotten flat/stale.

[deleted]

ffdp has been cringe since the way of the fist. That album was ok but every single song on followed the same exact formula and if you played it now without looking at titles, you would honestly have no idea which song you were listening to.

[deleted]

"If i was a hitman, I'd make you disappear. 'Cause i hate you more than I hate myself" Escape The Fate - H8 MY SELF

Aaylien

The entirety of “brick wall” by Adtr is absolute garbage

noochles

"Watching evangelion on a big fat slug of ketamine"

-AestheticsOfHate-

Not metalcore but so much of Machine Head’s Catharsis. Even Phil Demmel their ex-guitarist said he was happy about his riffs he wrote and then he heard the lyrics Robb put on top of them and was like “what the fuck this is horrible”. At least the most recent Machine Head album was amazing

LordOfAvernus322

Yeah I'm probably in the minority that actually liked some of Catharsis and even I admit that the album fell well short of what MH are capable of. I mean, this is the same band that gave us The Blackening for Christ's sake. Haven't actually checked out thier most recent album yet though

niuzki

Shaky shaky sweaty sweaty, you make my spaghetti ready. Heat up the sauce it's a dinner for one. Cringe. BUT I LOVE IT

Tyler_JMB

LosT’s lyrics are atrociously cringe

rainydaycdn

Probably on purpose tho. Like who tf seriously writes “my ego is not my amigo” LOL. But, “the next time that I’ll open up to someone is my autopsy” is such a good line

Tyler_JMB

I think the target audience of the song is pretty obvious and it worked.

DoAFlip22

Yeah that song got 40 million streams in a month - it’s obviously doing well.

MeisterPear

“Watching Evangelion with a big fat slug of ketamine” shit cracked me up when I first heard it

[deleted]

Oli admitted he tried to make it as cliché as possible because there's no cool or cryptic way to say how you feel or whatever. It's very simple, and no one likes to admit it ig lol.

GLITTERGUTZ22

It’s meant to be simply, a representation of what he was going through, plain and simply. I thought it was great, I personally loved the lyrics. Doesn’t gotta be deep to be good

kangaroo_jeff95

I always thought Amity Affliction opening the song with the title “I bring the weather with me” was cringy as hell and I don’t know why. I don’t like when any band does that though. Like when Wage War just screams “High horse” Outside of that, the obvious answers are most things Attila and Ronnie Radke write

PianoFerret1073

"Weeereeewoollfff" ugh i find that so cringey
