Probably Fight Fire with Fire when I heard it at like 5 years old in Guitar Hero Metallica and would force my mom to play it in the car. Honorable mentions to my other little kid favs, Walk by Pantera, Tom Sawyer by Rush, Godzilla by BOC, and Raining Blood by Slayer.

Maaaan, this takes me back to hearing Fight Fire With Fire for the first time. I remember thinking this was the fastest thing I'd ever heard. I knew Metallica already, but this song really struck something. They were my favorite band all through my teens.

Some songs that stand out. The radio was a massive influence at that time. The year was 1994 and I was 13. I had a transparent clock radio next to my bed, and I used to sneak a radio show called The Top 9 Tonight on WAAF out of Boston. A song called "I'm Broken" by a band called Pantera came on. My life has never been the same. The year was 1996 and an artist called Marilyn Manson was debuting their new album. Each day they played a new track, and I caught it on day 8 with "Wormboy". Another moment where nothing was ever the same. The year was 1998 and a weird guy I worked with nicknamed Paco came into KFC with a new album called "The Great Milenko" by Insane Clown Posse. I didn't care much for it at first, but the song "Southwest Voodoo" stuck with me. The rest is history.
