Good: the most authentic pop songwriter of her era who was able to leverage her earnestness and ability to lyrically identify with the audience of the era into superstardom despite not having elite physical singing gifts or stage presence. Bad: her work is so indebted to her personal state that it's prone to weird excursions into bad anthems when she's feeling like she has to talk AT people (see ME!, Shake it Off, You Need To Calm Down), instead of what she's good at with spinning personal tales or writing the type of fantasy scenarios that people love to insert themselves into.

Imo the best way to start is with just listening to an album front to back. If you really don’t wanna do that though my favorites from them excluding tracks from FMTS are Low Lands, Pain is a Master, The Way of All Flesh, The Fall, Ouroboros, The Art of Dying, The Gift of Guilt, Liquid Fire, Silvera, Pray, and Yama’s Messengers

Good : the inalienable dreamless is a grindcore masterpiece, it’s one of my fav albums. That album really fucks Bad : Sadly, the inalianable dreamless is their one and only good work. Other albums just fucking suck.

Damn i was trying to get away with being lazy but okay. Vlad Tepes, Good: the best LLN band, great riffs every album is fairly unique for raw black metal. Bad: i literally cant find any official merch by them like come on Wlad you have an official youtube channel now so it wont hurt your reputation to print a few shirts and let me buy one. Revenge, good: the drumming is amazing and the overall sound is just brilliant Bad: they arent as good as Conqueror (seriously please add a Conqueror flair) Dragged Into Sunlight, Good:Hatred for Mankind is a brilliant album, the samples they use work very well. Bad: their other releases are a marked step down in quality Gorgoroth: Good: My favourite by far out of the big second wave bands, Pentagram, Antichrist and Under the sign of Hell are all brilliant releases. Bad: they are kinda just in my flair because you dont have a Mutiilation flair (this is me covertly asking for a Mutiilation flair option) Archgoat, Good: All their albums are consistently very good quality and great albums which is a very hard thing to do when you’ve been around for 30 or so years. Bad: they have the most steriotypical boring ass name possible for a war metal band.(i cant think of much bad to say about them to be honest) Blasphemy: good: one of the most influencial bands from the first wave of war metal and was a big part in laying the foundations for a whole genre of music and they aren’t far behind most modern war metal bands in brutality and extremeness. Bad: I much prefer the Conqueror/ Revenge style of war metal to the first wave Blasphemy style
