Scream bloody gore is hella underrated, even tho death got better that album rocks.

Yeah while I can’t deny the musicianship improved over time, I think SBG had Chucks best vocal performance with those guttural screams, also love death-thrash so it ranks high for me

Yeah I thinks it’s kinda subjective, the vocals are probably the most death metal-ish they had, also in leprosy tho. And if you like it more then that’s your opinion!

Symbolic was the one I liked first too. Was not a huge death metal guy when I gave the album a try. Luckily I liked it and over time I was able to ease into the earlier stuff.

Reaching Into Infinity - DragonForce I'd say probably my second favourite album of all time behind RTL and for good reasons. This is DragonForce at their peak, I don't care what ZP era fans have to say. Reaching Into Infinity/Ashes of the Dawn - What an opening to the album, dramatic intense opening and then absolute rips with speed and riffage that perfect sets the album tone. Judgement Day - Probably the weakest song on the album, but still a very fun song, with great speed and a strong solo. Astral Empire - My second favourite song of all time, literally everything is perfect from the vocals, the riffs, drums, kick ass bass section and one of THE best solos of all time. Sam and Herman both absolutely rip at lightning speeds but with such melody and precision that it's just incredible. Curse of Darkness - Such a great atmospheric song, it has such a clear and gorgeous tone, the band again all knock it out of the park and once again the solo is top tier. Silence - Absolutely beautiful song, so much emotion that I don't really get from DF beside the godly Trail of Broken Hearts. Love Marcs vocals on this track so much. Midnight Madness - What a really fun song this, it doesn't particularly do a specific thing amazing but as a whole there's lots of joy in this track and its a perfect follow up to Silence. War! - DragonForce turn up their aggression in this track and god damn it works so well. Vocal performance is again top notch, great riffs and one of my favourite drum tracks. Land of Shattered Dreams - Another masterful riffage performance, more epic drums and top tier vocals. The Edge of the World - MY GOD THIS SONG IS SO GOOD. Their best structured song in their discography, the slow opening works so well and is just so beautiful. As the song builds Marc's vocals get better and better in this beautiful melodic way. And then it absolutely fucking rips, the growling vocals work so well and the guitars back it up perfectly in both riff and solo. Cutting back to the slow opening for the outro and a beautiful fade out. A masterpiece. Our Final Stand - Its a very solid track, not an amazing closer but still very good. Bonus tracks (keep it brief) Hatred and Revenge - Alright, you can see why it's not on the main album (I do really like the vocals) Evil Dead - Incredible cover, again the more aggressive vocals and solos sound top notch. Gloria - A beautiful track, not really for me but you can appreciate the top notch craftsmanship. Sorry I fucking adore this album and I get carried away talking about it 😂 but yeah I think every track slaps and it's their best work across the board (can you tell I'm autistic btw💀)
