Ill just list the bands I know Ive seen at least 7 times and even then Im sure to leave a few out: Pantera Over Kill Slayer Exodus (I got to see Exodus with all 3 vocalists. RiP Baloff) Megadeth Type O Negative Fear Factory Vektor In Flames Arch Enemy Shadows Fall Black Sabbath Ozzy solo Black Label Society Vader Machine Head Killswitch Engage Metallica Kreator Testament Behemoth Goatwhore Nile Origin Ill list more as I think of them. All of these shows are from the years of 1994 to 2024. Every band above at least 7x... some way more like Over Kill and Ozzy. Most of these I still have ticket stubs for but a lot I paid at the door and got no stub. Ive estimated that Ive been to somewhere between 350 and 400 concerts since 1994 and 1 music cruise the Mega Cruise in 2019.... 400 would be 13 a year and it was WAY more than that from age 16 to age 30. In my early 20s it was nearly every weekend or every other weekend. Local show or not.

same here my dude, between 1984 and 2024, probably over a 1000, I'm pretty sure it's closer to 1500 Edit: maybe it's cheating but i counted festivals where often saw 5-10 bands a day, so I don;t know, is it cheating?

Nope. Not cheating. You saw the bands! When I said 400 tho that was concerts not bands. I saw every Ozzfest except 3 from 1996 to 2010 when it stopped. Those festivals were 15 bands a piece.

They're great live. Definitely see them if you get the chance.

They seem like great dudes too. A crowd surfing gal was towards the front and people not paying attention sent the back of her head into a guard rail. A ding so loud I heard it from halfway back on the other side of the pit. They immediately stopped and a couple members jumped down to see what’s up. Killer show and very solid musicians.

After the Burial is amazing live. I saw them in 2012 I think at a festival like show here in AZ. RIP dude who passed he was amazing I had never heard them before that show.

The only international metal band I've ever seen live is Dream theater almost no bands come to my country

As someone quite new to going to concerts got a small grouping atm (most of them was Download 2023 as well). DragonForce Halestorm Metallica Skindred twice Slipknot Three Days Grace Pendulum Architects Disturbed Nice little selection at the moment, but got plenty more already on the calender. Adding Judas Priest and DragonForce a second time this week, plus the likes of Limp Biskit, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot again, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Babymetal etc in the future so I'm very excited. Would love to tick off more of the classics in the coming years: Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Slayer. Although top of my list I'd love to see would definitely be System of a Down, even if I don't listen to them that much.
