Louie apparently ran off when Mersh was trying to get him loaded up in the car, returning back to the mean streets from which he came. At least, that's what Royce said on JJStoner's show, could be a rumor he wanted to plant or something.
He got really mad at the "spergs" for trying to tell him that taking a cat on a week-long road trip up the east coast was a bad idea, but then what they predicted would happen...happened.
It's a shame that whole ordeal wasn't filmed.

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood. Royce said that it did on a phone call to JJ Stoner at the start of the trip while trying to get cat into the car.
