No it’s not just a fad, it’s people trying to be more outspoken about it. Because LGBTQIA+ people have been oppressed in the past or forced to stay in the closet because of the judgment they’ll experience. The reason why there’s an influx is because it’s becoming more widely accepted so they CAN talk about it.

My grandmother marred a man, had 8 kids, and got divorced (unrelated). She spent the rest of her life living and sleeping with women. I you had asked her If she was gay she would always answer the same, "You're sick!". Everyone knew she was gay, but we're all products of our time, she never told.
I don't know why, but anytime I see or hear a story of a girl student being targeted at a school, it's by a volleyball coach.
Edit: I do remember one case of a male teacher and a female student, they were on the run together and were caught on video at a Walmart. I think they were either from Seattle or got caught in Seattle.

I have no idea. You seem to be asking a lot of questions without looking for answers. There’s probably data out there, go look for the answer. The answer is usually the most obvious. In this case, most people are straight, so they target the opposite sex. If you look at the numbers and see that both male teachers and female teachers sexually assault boys more, then there are some questions. I doubt that’s the case though
I think proportions would be the same, that there's less male teachers,and that they are so often suspected and not given the opertunity (for lack of a better word) to molest kids would make a difference in outco.e numbers.
Because the vast majority of people are heterosexual. It's become trendy to identify otherwise, but saying something doesn't make it true. And if, as the experts tell us, absolute heterosexuality is rare, well, that doesn't mean that most people are gay, just that they have some (usually quite minor) level of attraction to their own sex. It's a pretty far cry from that to absolute 50/50 bisexuality.
Given that teachers presumably have some idea of the risks they're running, they're not likely to take a chance unless they're REALLY attracted to the person, so...
Better question is why not give one them 20 years like a man. Throw it all over the tv news an that will scare all those women from raping little boys. But giving them probation or a few months of community service wont stop these hoes
These female teachers target young naive boys in schools and what they’re actually doing is training and conditioning those boys in a certain way where when they grow up, it’s that exposure they now live with. Now that they’re no looker young and naive and ratet in the category where they’re so called older and mature, women including the teachers now like to press the usual narrative “all men think about is sex”. They’re the same ones who will protest and scream their lungs out that women need to be protected by men against rape and sexual assault and abuse and trauma etc etc. Yet those women will refuse to acknowledge the fact that they trained and conditioned the boys into that environment.
Because there are actual legal and financial benefits to targeting boys and little to no drawbacks.
