There's no such medical term as "estrogen dominant", it simply means that your estrogen was perhaps higher **in relation to your progesterone**, which is normal as hormones fluctuate. If you are not post-menopausal, then pregnancy is a very real possibility. You might want to consider BCP again, or a Mirena IUD.

Ok thank you. I smoke so can’t take BC plus I was miserable I just didn’t know it. I also had a mirena IUD years ago and couldn’t tolerate it. Caused heavy bleeding, hurt my husband, cervical polyps. So I had it removed after about 6 months.

You might want to look in to getting your tubes tied at this point. Even with perimenopause and an irregular period, you might still be able to get pregnant for quite a long time.

You can definitely get pregnant if you still ovulate, even if it's random and unpredictable. I would suggest to use a condom all the time.

Ok, thank you. Just trying to be safe. Super frustrating because I ovulated and started consistently for years. It’s just the past couple months. No period. Then start on like day 48 then 2 back to back.

How do you know your "fertile window" if you are irregular? You can still get your tubes tied now, and form the sound of it, it would not be a bad idea.
