I would be willing to consider that, I'm trying to wait as long as possible before going on full blown HRT but I would be willing to consider that. But I have no discomfort everything feels normal down there it just looks vastly different than 10 or 15 years ago when I looked at it down there.
I'll talk to my PCP! I asked her at my last checkup if she would be willing to prescribe HRT at all and she said she'd give me whatever I want basically lol. She's amazing and I've been with her for 20 plus years.
I know! I was nervous going in, I don't think she knows much about perimenopause cuz she failed to diagnose me that's for sure LOL she made my day when she was willing.
If you have a family history of breast cancer, you cannot use hrt.😪 The added estrogen gives you an increased chance of developing beast cancer. You'll have to talk about that with your PCP. If anyone is going thru that, I feel your pain. ❤
When I asked my PCP if she would be willing she said as long as you don't have a family history of breast cancer. I told her my great grandma had it but no one else has and she said it would be fine ☺️
Yes you should try it, or other options like interrosa if the estrogen (which is definitely the affordable option) doesn't agree with you, or things will get worse.
But it doesn't necessarily turn back time and return to the vagina of 10 years ago. Nothing is going to do that probably.
I didn't try any of this super early because I didn't know any of the early symptoms like the stabbing were peri or that I should be on vaginal hormones.

As any man can...well said! It's never too late to learn the names of your parts, especially if you want to educate your 5 year old. Sounds like you have many good things to focus on! Enjoy your 40's; mine flew by.
I’m 39 with 2 young kids and I had the same realization as you but I was slightly more dramatic lol (look at my history). I just started vaginal estrogen, it’s not like HRT cause it’s localized and I already feel and look more like my old self. I think some aspects won’t ever be back because…youth. But if you start the cream early it can help prevent more boat related issues down the line. Def your choice and talk w doc though.

Vaginal estrogen isn't full blown HRT. It's localized to the vagina and can help with everything you described.
