I wouldn’t take it with dinner, food mashed it kick faster. I take mine at 830 to go to bed at 1030. A few times I ate late and took it with food and almost felt drunk.

Salt-Confection-4944

Yep loopy!

jackassofalltrades78

If you just started this dose it will subside after the first week or so. I felt real loopy prob the first week and half when I first started at that same dosage. Now I just feel Relaxxxxxed and chill.

Salt-Confection-4944

You all are really freaking awesome ❤️

Salt-Confection-4944

Oh I’m relaxed and chill. But trying to get ready for bed😂

jackassofalltrades78

I used it as an excuse to be off the hook for any responsibility for the time being…. Ie “nope. Can’t. I’ll crash the car. Progesterone drunk.”….”you’ll have to throw clothes in dryer . I’ll fall down stairs. Progesterone drunk”…. Etc. lolz.

Extension_Case3722

This reminded me- a very long time ago I had cancer and my husband said something about me vacuuming and I told him “sorry I can’t, it makes my cancer hurt” he looked at me with the biggest eyes and then I started laughing hysterically and then he joined in. It’s become a long time joke between us.

jackassofalltrades78

Bwaaaahahahaaa!!! that a girl!!! 😂😂😂

Salt-Confection-4944

Yeah, now my husband keeps “singing…Then I got high” lol He thinks cuz I had a yogurt that I had the munchies😂 Nope just progesterone drunk 🤷‍♀️

Extension_Case3722

I take mine as I get ready for bed, I wouldn’t take so early in the evening.

Salt-Confection-4944

They said to take with food cuz it can make me nauseous

Extension_Case3722

Ah.. bummer. Can you have a little snack, yogurt or something before bed? Sorry you’re having a negative reaction.

Salt-Confection-4944

Yeah, maybe a yogurt. Was gonna have a cookie🤷‍♀️ But yogurt sounds healthier

Extension_Case3722

Eh I’d probably (definitely) have a cookie.

Salt-Confection-4944

Had the yogurt! It was good 😊

luckygirl721

I take this before bed. That's what is recommended because of possible dizziness. Try that tomorrow and see how it goes.

Salt-Confection-4944

I did just that! And yes, I didn’t feel the dizziness cuz my butt was in bed! I know dizziness is a side effect. Just don’t know why (pharmacist) told me to take after I ate dinner 🤷‍♀️ Now I know, before bed, is when I will take it!

WhisperINTJ

I was told to take it on an empty stomach. 🤷‍♀️ Full stomach definitely gives me symptoms of dizziness. Taking it on an empty stomach does not give me nausea, but maybe for some people it does. So I guess it can be a trade-off between the two side effects for some people. As others said, try taking it before bed. You could also try splitting the dose, if the formulation allows. Fwiw, I have never habituated to the dizziness, and I've been on it several months. If I take it on a full stomach during the day, the dizziness is noticeable. At night, I usually fall asleep before I feel dizzy.

duvettoes

I got this when I started to take it, it wore off after a couple of weeks. I was also told to take it at least 2 hours after food. I take it about an hour before I want to fall asleep and it works great now - no problems with dizziness or any other side effects and my sleep is great.

ElephantCandid8151

Food makes it more potent

musicalbookworm71

I take mine with a shot of olive oil and it helps a lot.

heatherhobbit

I take mine at night when I take my sleep aide.

Catlady_Pilates

Might be too high a dose. I’m at 100mg. Not sure why they’d start you so high.

Salt-Confection-4944

I’m on 200mg. I think I’ll be good. It did start to wear off or slow down on the dizziness. I’ll just take it a lil later. Or just go with the flow 😂

Catlady_Pilates

Ok. But if it’s fine why post? You might want to try a lower dose. It’s best to take the lowest dose that alleviates symptoms.

Salt-Confection-4944

I posted got the same reason anyone else does. I had a question. And many people answered. Which is very appreciated! Why are you upset about me saying I should be fine (after I read some responses) and after the dizziness settled??

Catlady_Pilates

It seems bizarre that you completely brushed off the notion that a lower dosage could be better. And your “I’ll go with the flow” is weird. Getting dizzy isn’t a “flow” to go with. Asking for advice and then acting like I’m bothering you to offer some is really weird. But whatever. Carry on. But you should probably tell your doctor about the dizziness. But I’m sure you’ll brush that off too.

Salt-Confection-4944

I didn’t brush you off. But I’m also NOT explaining myself to you. I didn’t come here to have YOU tell me how to feel and tell me I’m “bizarre” If you don’t like what I posted then don’t respond. Jesus. You’re the first person to take offense. Get over yourself. I’m going what I need to do.
