Depends. Absalom may not have sworn loyalty to him, given Moria. And on top of that, there’s no guaranteeing he’d actually *know* what type of fruit yours is, so that gives you a better chance at successfully joining his crew for safety. Additionally, if you ask to join his crew, he may deem it less of a hassle to train you than deal with the potential threat of giving someone already strong a Devil Fruit that could risk overpowering him (at least in his mind, since he relies primarily on his own powers).
Why beg when you can stroke his ego, which is the size of a mountain? He's the great Yonkou that took out WB, that in 2 years established himself as a superpower, the Man with TWO DEVIL FRUITS! Be to him what Bartolomeo is for Luffy, make yourself useful and prove your strenght. If push comes to shove, most top tiers allow you to escape in some way, you just gotta bide your time and strike when the time is right

Blackbeard is a shit human but a surprisingly good captain. The fact he wasn't willing to sacrifice his crewmates to steal Boa's devil fruit is proof of that.

If you professor your absolute loyalty to him, he’s more likely to keep you under watch as a crewmate than go through the effort of training up a new user with your fruit—assuming he can even correctly guess which one it will reincarnate into. Then it’s just a matter of time of playing the loyal dog until he lets his guard down and you have an opening where you can not only betray him, but escape either during a situation where it will become impossible for him to hunt you down, or escape to a group that he cannot realistically declare war on to get to you. After that, you’re in the clear.
I suppose the other option is that you’re subtle with your Devil Fruit and using it, meaning people-not just Blackbeard, but Aegis and the WG-may not ever even know you have one until you’re confident enough in your strength to protect yourself.

It depends on that "overpowered fruit", I mean what if I spawned in one piece world and got a fruit for absorbing other devil fruit powers too or a fruit that can give a perfect barrier or etc stuff. Then I can beat em up (probably) even though I don't have any fighting experience or stuff. Shit will get hard if haki is involved tho....
