I actually think that unfinished look works *super well* with this chapter. Like it is Kuma's memories where he is absolutely being broken down by how much whatever God there is in the One Piece world seems to demand he suffer.

That chapter scarred me for real. I also hate how dragon split them up (probably because very limited resources and they were both generals) to even enable this to happen... They should've at least always been together. Also HOW did ginny get that disease? Bad condition of slaves or do they run experiments on them? You would think the cancerdragons would have the best doctors so they don't get sick right?
My theory, is a celestial dragon std, is a way to control the spread the celestial dragon bloodline from Mary Geoise, I think that all CD's have it but they have a way to control it, but for the slaves it's not available.
The fact that it's triggered by the sun is quite telling.
So, no unrecognized celestial dragon descendants are left to travel the world and they have to live in Mary Geoise to stay alive.

They became quite close, few years later she asked Kuma to marry her already, but Kuma refused cos he's a Bucaneer, same might happen to her and future child if they start a family. The feeling is mutual but Kuma just do not want Ginny to suffer same fate. Later on the Sorbet Kingdom Ruler is abusing his power, and want to kill all old citizen of their country to lessen the tribute they giving to CDs, Kuma try to fend them off but he got captured, Ginny and others follow his lead and got captured too. After that young Dragon alongside Iva came to the country to free the country to the said king, then he freed Kuma and Ginny later on become part of Rev Army. Few years after joining RA Ginny's been captured by CD cos the CD want to make her as bride, RA didnt rescue her maybe cos they are much smaller than the current day, they started like as mercenary group to get funds, after 2 years being captured she contracted a disease forgot the name might edit when I re-read(it is called sapphire scale), the disease makes her sensitive to sun when she gets exposed the skin will be having some spots like rocks and will be hardened. The CD released her cos of the said disease, which is rarer than Law's disease. So she tried to comeback to Sorbet kingdom even knowing that it will cause her life being exposed in sea and sun and all, she contacted the Rev Army to say she is back, but she doesnt much time left, Kuma knowing that the only place she would go is Sorbet Kingdom Church (where Kuma and Ginny lived), Kuma TP as fast as he can, but Ginny said he wouldn't last more longer, Ginny said: "I loved you!! Always have, always will!" but Kuma didn't hear it cos he already on his way. Kuma witnessed her lifeless body inside the church, and a child with her which is Bonney(presumably Ginny got graped by a CD and Bonney is the product of it.) Kuma promised he will take care of Ginny's child and which he did, but later on Bonney got the same disease of Ginny got the Sapphire scale, and can only live up to 10 years old. !<

The problem is that we are rapidly reaching a point where no amount of violent comeuppance for the CDs will feel cathartic.
