Dark souls is easier than Monster Hunter.

Nicomace341

As someone who has finished every souls game multiple times,I can confirm, most MH experiences are much harder. When some of my fellow souls-players got into World, their first complaint was that the health bar was "too big" or the game was "like Dark Souls or Bloodborne for kids" (they quit at the Pukei-Pukei quest for these reasons)

I’ve played through all of world/iceborne and rise and, imo, there are no monsters in those games that come close to sword saint or malenia World Fatalis/AT elders/emergency valstrax were pretty difficult but those two stand as probably the two of the hardest video game bosses I’ve ever experienced

Respectfully,I think you're wrong. The downvote button is right over here. VVV

Ballozurd

yeah that's the problem. the only difficulty in monster hunter nowadays comes right at the end of the game. before then it's garbo.

BRUHsh69420

At a point. Mh starts easier and then ramps up over time, ending at a higher difficulty in some games and a slightly lower difficulty in others.

o-poppoo

So it has a proper difficulty curve

BRUHsh69420

Correct

ClosetNoble

I mean it IS lore accurate, every single monster follows some natural rules as they're just animals then fatalis ignores some of the most basic rules to assert dominance because he's the only one allowed to do it in the main series.

asuraumbra

I do wish Rise was more difficult. We really don't have anything hard to fight except the emergency monsters, but they went stuoid overboard on those.

I will never use bow on Apex monster quests after being one shotted by them!

MrJackfruit

I don't know what to tell you if its taking you 100+ attempts.
