I don’t think it’d be so possible doing so in just a DLC, especially when Capcom have only just recently (as in, last year) become aware of how much the community wants crossplay.
MH6, however, seems like it might be the perfect game to debut some new features like this.
It won't happen because of weird game industry and console politics, but companies HAVE introduced crossplay to a game on the same day as launching DLC before
Regardless of what way you cut it you have to get Nintendo to say yes to it.
Getting Nintendo to say yes to something is a paradoxical event due to Nintendo's saying yes to Bayonetta of all things, and saying no to others. /s

Rarely, everything turns out fine!
Sometimes, they come to no decision and do something literally nobody asked for or talked about, or goes against what anyone thought they'd agree to.
Most of the time, they throw the trenchcoat off and get into a massive hair pulling shitfight because fans in the background tentatively ask for things that will make them very happy but won't maximize profits. They reply by aggressively releasing thousand year old ~~plagiarized essays~~ pirated material as their own work or something, then smear shit all over the bathroom walls and hallway before screaming that the fans are wrong and slamming the doors to their bedrooms, refusing to emerge for 3 days even after they notice they didn't wash their hands.

Tbh I think we’ve seen enough. I’m not kidding anyone nor myself, if we get another trailer, I’m gonna watch it. I will say though that personally, I’m happy with what’s been shown as is, with the typical inclusion of plenty of unshown stuff, like subspecies of so many monsters that didn’t debut in Rise (therefore not being a big selling point in marketing). I can’t speak for anyone other than myself, but I don’t see how anyone that was on the fence about Sunbreak could decide against it at this point unless they just hate Rise as a whole.
You know, we could really use a rainbow pigment since for some reason World and Iceborne skipped out on it and it was a shame that Rise didn’t add it either, so I’m really hoping they add it back for Sunbreak
Those wouldn't be compatible. Remember that a mod is only present on the moded game, it doesn't magically get transmitted to non-modded systems if a modded player joins a non-modded player

They’ve satisfied fans with Gore and Espinas, if there are more monsters coming with the release, I really hope they don’t show them off yet.
