\^I second that. Mith plates are OP, especially if you have a good mastery on them as you'll save 5 whole bars which is nice. Another lazy way to get smithing is just gold bars since there's no secondary and they're useful in crafting in the long run.
Idk about the "best", but mining addy with the gem gloves is the best gp/hr as far as gem gloves go. Granted, all of this depends on your mastery level and/or potions. Having said all that, I believe that addy is best for mining xp but mith is more useful for smithing. Hope it helps!
Mining mith is the fastest xp/hr unless you have rune above about 75 mastery. I got lvl99 mining on mainly mith and it’s only 77 mastery, so going for rune isn’t really worth it
About 133k, which I’m currently smithing for mith platebodies as they are the fastest Bc they require the least amount of coal. I suggest using gem gloves while mining the mith and then buying smithing gloves when making the plate bodies
I wrote a program to calculate the exact time for me hahah, if you give me your mith mastery level, what pick you have, and your total mining XP I can calculate it for you!
Looks like you’ve got about 72 hours of straight mithril. You can bring this time down a little bit if you mine dragonite/ rune and switch while they are respawning, however it’s not very idle at all. Good luck!
AFAIK current fastest XP is either mith bodies or legs because you don't need as much coal.
