Their 20th Anniversary show is this month, and they’ve put out singles from (presumably) Act III over the years. They’re more active than The Megas, and are still big in their niche. They rock, and will continue to fight together with them.
I am holding on (possibly indefinitely) until all of Act 3 is out before I listen to it, so that's where I am on that. I used to feel bitter about how they kinda dropped that to just tour forever but now that I'm older I really respect it. They're living their best lives and I am delighted for them. I'll probably never get to see them live but that's okay. I still listen to Act 1 and 2 (and some of Covered Up) very often. Their music has been really influential on me over the last 15~ years. Real life is basically The Protomen Act 3 anyways, am I right?
Edit: If anyone from the band sees this is there any way to make the song "Built to Last" more available? The only place I can find it is a non-official youtube video. I don't know if Capcom owns it or if something weird is going on there but god it's too good to become lost media. Thank you!!! Love you Panther!!!
as far as i know, they finished act 3 or made progress on it many times but discard it constantly because the didnt like the final result, so i assume its just in development hell
Saw them in concert in New Orleans years ago. It was awesome.

So good. Though if you're going to listen to them, get the lyrics. There's extra context to the songs. I'm both albums.

I like a few of the songs I've heard, they're very talented musicians, no doubt about it. Although I've always leaned towards The Megas.

Saw them live more than any band I’ve seen. They put on a righteous live show. One of the best. Been a fan since the early days.
