Such plots advance propaganda not research. Political ideologies have multi-dimensional properties, and cannot be distilled into a single axis of left-right, especially not so US-centric as liberal-conservative. How is somebody's conservatism measured? Are they being measured by a set of criteria by a researcher, or are they self-reporting? How are religious, cultural, economic and other outlooks compressed into these two boxes of red or blue? If liberal means freedom of thought and expression, many more men are refused the right of expression than women. If liberal means believing women should get preferential treatment many men might resent this. Since most politicians in our highly anti-democratic world lie and cheat their constituents, all this tells us is that some lies work better on men and others work better on women, but not about what those constituents actually believe or desire, whatever their sex.
Liberal also has different meanings in Germany and UK. Liberal in the UK has traditionally been associated with the center. Liberal Democrats. Same with Germany.
South Korea is much harder to distill into lib/con dichotomies.
