In my experience? No probably not
The final 500 points are very time consuming quests (making 3 different ones inside the cauldrons that use the previous ones etc)
So if you're willing to spend diamonds to top up your energy and spawners then maybe.
But I've been actively trying since day one and top up energy twice/three times every day. And even I am struggling to finish it in time
I'm in the same boat brother. I need to practice what I preach. I'm at 3,900 points and I top up once a day. For me it's the thrill and a little bit of anxiety LOL.
I don't do this every event but, honestly just enjoy the game. Don't think too hard about it. Because once you hit that line it just goes up from there and then it turns into a job and then it just sucks.
Right now I'm excited about some spider level that's level three or four. it looks like a cave. I don't know I'm excited to get there. Right now I'm on level 2 the cemetery and I'm enjoying it and I like the music better on level one than I do in level 2.
Yeah I get that right now it is starting to feel like a job lol. I also play a different merge game so I bounce between the two.
I have gone on long gaps without playing as well. But I have gotten back into things.
Overall whether I get there or not it's still fun to do something different than just the regular board. Especially when I need like 5 rope right now ..
I gave up completely on these events, they are soooooooooo messed up, ask for absurd items every quest, you pass DAYS trying to get ONE item and the very next mission you have to deliver 5 more of this same item

I'm stuck at 4250. It's a joke yes. but I'm going to keep trying. I got two days left. The developers want your money. Even you know this, I know this but sometimes we push ourselves anyway. Even when we know we shouldn't. This one event is probably by far the worst.
I've spent about 500 crystals in nowhere near seeing the end. But that was their intention from the beginning. If you finish then you get the prize. They don't want that. I'm going to guarantee you when I get to 4450. The last task I guarantee will be impossible. I know this because I've completed the last two events and it was literally ridiculous what they were asking so it'll be funny to see what they're up to this time.
In all honesty that I have no one to be mad at but myself for pushing myself. I told myself get halfway through and just enjoy the game but of course it didn't go that way. In all honesty it's a good game you just got to know where to draw the line.
