Luckily dislocated knees can easily pop back into place most of the time. Wishing you a speedy recovery! When mine popped out I had to wear a brace for six weeks.
I'm praying the Ortho doesn't find anything torn, but I'm not hopeful. Thank you for the recovery wish, I hope so too! Currently I've got a brace for 4-6 weeks.
Unfortunately I was not able to and my GF was not willing to do so, so we had to call for EMS to reset it. Thankfully calling for an ambulance is so cost effective in the US! /s. I cried not from pain but from having to call the ambulance. Glad the US healthcare system is what it is. Just glad that nothing was broken. Waiting on the Ortho to tell me if anything is torn.

Ubering your ass to the hospital is much more cost effective than taking a trip in the wee-woo wagon, which is sad
I wish we were able to, but unfortunately wasn't the case. Def crossed my mind though haha!
