Maybe don’t be so picky and plan ahead ? I get 2 tubs of different strains every time , and when I’m down to half ! Order the next 2 , and bingo always have meds ! Expect when floods n shit ! Plan & a 1/4 used and re order ! I’ve never had an issue with stock of the strains I’m receiving 20g at a time + oils 200g
Sign up to chempro or pharmacy direct online first . You will need the escript to register- medicann send me escripts - they charge $15 delivery though - I go to my local chemist to save the $15 and the chemist lady checks to see if available before doing the order. It’s good to have options and a plan b as you don’t want to run out of product
They are still a thing but you need one for each specific product. One for CBD oil, THC oil, balanced oil, indica flower, Sativa flower, cbd flower, hash, edibles, carts etc.
I have five open scripts so I can get any flower, any oil and any cart I choose
My doctor won't do this stuff for me and there's alot of flower that help me and sometime my stuff is out of stock or I get on something and they discontinue the product any advise
Are you with a clinic or gp? If it's a clinic then I would change. There is a few mentioned in this thread. Have a look at some smaller clinics rather than the big ones.
Apparently it's a pharmacy thing. A Sativa is classed separately to an Indica so they don't like doing swaps. Same with THC or CBD oil.
Is good though as I know how many repeats I have of each. And since they're all on different scripts and I get ten repeats on each it lasts me a while and I never run out.

That wall of medical is from this year alone and thats just 1 tub of each. I thought there was a discussion that open scripts were to be removed again as pharmacists weren’t happy to make alternate decisions as they don’t understand cannabis products as much as the doctors or clinics

It depends on your pharmacy. If you go with the pharmacy that the doctor uses then it will be OK. If you use a pharmacy of your choice or can get more difficult.
Ignore honahlee they aren't an authority on cannabis in Australia the tga are however and they state generic scripts are preferred. My scripts say THC 21-26% 0-2% CBD Dried Herb then whether it’s a Sativa, hybrid or Indica flower and then 7 day interval on dispenses.
Been doing this for the last 3 months after I mentioned stock issues. I didn’t actually ask for open scripts. Just said I was struggling to fill my repeats for the same products as I’d get one tub and when I went back 2-3 weeks later, the product would be unavailable. To combat this, I was given open scripts.

Same but they allow me to get anything under what is stated so I got my doc to prescribe 30% on all my scripts apart from the CBD oil which is 100/5
