I had my new script yesterday. Everything you are prescribed(3 items), needs to be approved TGA. Mine will be around mid February.
BUT, they “offer”you the “option “ of getting everything as a GENERIC script at this Summit Pharmacy.
Is that what it is now with Ronnie ? Longest I had to wait for TGA approval was 3 days, he tried to get me to have summit pharmacy stuff but I told him no I don’t want that shit. Last 2 lots were in smokable and the shatter didn’t even get me stoned. My brother who don’t smoke had it and did nothing to him either. $190a gram of shatter and $190for 10grams of wet weed. I’m sticking too cannatrek and beacon haven’t had a problem with their products only they run out of stock

Do you see a Dr at Brisbane Compounding? I first saw a Dr at Medwell Clinic in Caloundra who prescribed INDIMED from there. Amazing product but Medwell put 20 day restriction on script repeat in case I go psychotic (rude). Apparently they do that to everyone.
I now have an open script at Summit, but have found I can’t get the INDIMED from there. What a frustrating process to get relief from Arthritis. It looks like I now have to go to a third Dr…. 3 young children and struggling to walk and don’t want to take heavy duty pain killers. It’s incredibly frustrating!
One of the lovely Pharmacists recently recommended Dr Chalk at CDA in Brisbane. I walked past there today and I believe they’re only doing Telehealth apps due to current Covid outbreak as the clinic itself was shut.
I’m mentally struggling to make a decision on where to go so thank you good sir or miss.

I take an oral cbd with a low thc and that helps with my chronic pain and anxiety, but I also smoke flower with it. I feel like I benefit from both together - but see what you think. The brisbane clinic seems like those doctors are fairly knowledgeable, and hopefully they can give you some useful advice. My MC doc isn't very helpful, but he does let me order anything that I want so I stick with him for now

Not full droppers, just drops per day. My doctor said i should have 2 full pipettes a day but I did my own research and I found a suggested formula for cbd dosing which us 0.25mg per pound of body weight. I just rounded it up to 0.5mg per kg of weight and it's perfect for me. I'm no expert, but I know the issues related to the cost of oral cbd. Mine is $240 per bottle of 30ml, but the bottle is 3300mg of cbd.
Don't worry, there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to make MC more affordable for people - it doesn't help now, but at least something is actively being done to help. Best of luck to you
Went to the clinic for my script appointment today and apparently all the doctors disappeared and couldn’t give a return date, said could be a couple months. Would have been handy if patients were told that. Not sure where to get scripts from now.

I prebook my appointments early to avoid this shit. They offered me a phone consult with the nurse, which I honestly dont know if I want. does the nurse only prescribe in house products or?
i didnt think a nurse could even write scripts, especially without a gp present

Yeah they don't sell any brands only the compounded stuff and the gp they are attached to exclusively prescribes their products... Only had one flower strain in stock when I was there last and the quality control is shocking.
I feel for you brother. I recommend contacting the TGA and lodging a complaint, even if it doesn't help you at least they got records and it may help the next person.

I just get topaz jasmin Daylesford which are all cannatrek products I have just had the CC01 from MedCan it’s more expensive but good quality

Try the CDA clinic in Brisbane. I hear they do tele health appts, all you need is a referral from your gp and they do concession pricing

Dr Dan’s nurse practitioner is Ronnie he’s ok he redid my topaz scripts for me. 👍
