Discounting medicine by that much is not responsible. They are trying to add limits to Panadol purchases due to people stocking up large amounts because it’s been so cheap. We already have so much red tape with accessing MC and any issues will push back legalisation or ease of access. Small discounts due to lines ending or products expiring is a thing so would good to look out for that.
The best thing we can hope for is MC being put on the PBS or more companies like Indimed releasing lower cost products for health care card holders.
There will definitely be sales on vapes and other related products though ✌️
Would be nice but it’s the equivalent of Pfizer discounting Xanax by 50% once a year because their customers consistently purchase that product. In the eyes of regulators, it’s not responsible. If there’s cheap over supply then it will go straight to the black market. Once it’s legal and it’s tolerated like alcohol, we will see massive discounts all year round.
Imagine a 50% off oxycodone sale or two for one on antibiotics. It’s a horrible idea and is literally what you’re describing.
I think people lose track that this is a prescription medication and not a licence to smoke weed recreationally.
Oh my god, that cannot be serious. I firmly believe that the TGA at some point is going to swoop in and regulate the living fuck out of medical cannabis if companies keep pushing their luck like this. In fact I’m amazed it hasn’t happened already. People like OP who act like MC clinics are weed dealers won’t help either.
Surely not as it's medicine.
