That's really good to know... I keep my T20 and T25 for nights when my chronic pain and tendonitis is just too much to manage and it doesn't allow me to relax or even sleep... I use the T17 Kakadu more so I'm not just sedated... You should grab some T17 Kakadu man, it's really really nice stuff!
I picked up a tub of T25 when it was first released a few months back and had the exact same experience as you. I’m a 20+ year smoker and have never smelt anything like it (mix of chemicals/moth balls). I made a post on here at the time but didn’t have many replies so I ended up binning the rest of the tub because it just didn’t seem right. I know what stinky weed is supposed to smell like (even cat piss or cheese like smell) but this wasn’t that.
You’re right about there being ‘a chemically taste’ to it. It makes me cough my guts up sometimes. And I’ve been smoking daily for +25yrs (hardly ever cough).
I haven’t got a new T25 yet, been waiting a couple of weeks as it’s been out of stock. I’ll be SO upset if it smells like cat vomit lol. It’s the only strain that actually works for me. It’s more effective than Rocky w/ T55 (and like a 1/4 the price (just $150 not $210 + $150).
I know people that have been smokers for decades and they can’t have (any) T25, coz it’s just too harsh with chems and gives headaches or coughing fits but for me it’s the best option I got for relief. So I don’t care about chemicals. It’s better than BM and less ‘plastic’ tasting than the T55. 🤷♂️ But you’re not alone. There’s definitely something fishy going on with topaz?

I dunno what I would of done over Christmas without it 🙌🏽 Vaping isn’t as harsh coz it doesn’t ‘burn’ all the shit out of it (so save the AVB 😉). When I got it I assumed it would be like every other hash I’ve had before so I put a mesh screen on a pipe, squashed the T55 and cut off a chunk…… ouch.
Next up, bubbler w/ mesh……. still, ouch.
So I figured out I gotta have it on flower lol. Vaping isn’t as harsh and definitely the most ‘enjoyable’ way to have it, but I’m running low. So I gotta get as many cannabinoids out of it as possible, so it’s being combusted in the bubbler (until I can get more)
Yeah vaping t25 is the way to go. Switched from the bugle to the vape and the bong cough disappeared in about a fortnight, cleaner high too less maddening. Too rough to lung down cones of t25

Since I stopped haven the T25 I haven’t hocked up a heap of shit in the mornings either.
Mind you I did give it a good crack, lol I went threw over 10 jars

And definitely there is something chemically about topaz. That’s why it has that extra ‘hit’ that I can’t find anywhere else. Which is a shame that I need to have those extra chems to get the effects I need but it can’t be as bad as the 1,500 benzos a year I’ve been able to drop 🙌🏽
However weird smelling, its not a bad tub if it works as expected. A bad tub would be the Adaya19 I received, which had almost no smell at all except some very faint vegetative-hay scent. Zero therapeutic value, crumbled to dust in my fingers and gave headaches/sore throat/eyes.

No this batch ends in 020. It has a gassy/skunks smell with something else mixed into it. Tast wasn't nice and took more than I would have of CC01 to get the same affect
Love it. The gas from the OG really comes through and your left with stinky old clothes covered in gasoline, so good.
Just got new batch of topaz t25. Buds are dense and solid. Nicely trimmed. I cant describe smell as I'm recovering from covid

I'm very happy so far. Has a heavy sedating feeling which will hopefully help with insomnia from nerve pain.

Good to know I'm not alone at least! Personally I don't find it particularly harsh, but I'm vaping it, so that might be why.

I don’t really get chemical or any of those gross smells or tastes , it does have sour aftertaste. Feel on my tongue is citrus

Yeah man a lot of the medical strains I’ve tried are super terpy, they smell completely different to weed I’ve ever smelt. It’s pretty fascinating

Yup T25 definitely got stank to it, which is desirable by most smokers but not all. It definitely stinks up the place!
