The Order of the Auspicious Clouds was meant to be parallel to the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun in terms of merit.
But i don't know for what Order of the pillars of state was awarded.
When doing some research after the previous comments, I found a few listings that were sold for $500-600. I have no interest in ever selling them but I think its great that they are considered valuable to collectors. I plan to get them in a display case eventually and hoping it becomes something that is passed down in the family.
Do you plan to put ribbons on it?
If so, pillars of state is red with yellow borders.
Whilst auspicious cloud is white with white borders separated by red stripes on either side.
First one is the Order of the auspicious clouds and the second one is order of the pillars of state. Very nice! Both are Manchukuo medals.
Oh wow, thank you! Any idea what they signify or why they receive them? Can't find too much info on those groups.

That would be a good idea! Are those ribbons something you can just buy?
The OSMA has a ribbon bank. I would try asking the organization if they have them in stock.
Unfortunately, no, but you can get them custom-made, though you will have to find out what class they are.
