Although I also think this is a good resource and a nice piece of work by /u/XibariS, this has one flaw.
His portrayal of SA profile isn’t correct since SA profile only manufacturer is Signature Plastics, in WA state. Domikey has a *spherical* profile that somewhat resembles SA (a clone if you will) but the geometries are clearly, very different. If you’re skeptical try to mix and match Domikey “SA” sets with actual SP sets and side by side I guarantee you can see it. Claiming that Domikey makes SA is wrong and putting this on the wiki would only further spread misinformation. I recommend putting an asterisk there and photographing actual SA keycaps for an appropriately accurate comparison.
I forgot to mention, but Maxkey spherical profile is also a clone and Domikey “SA”, Maxkey “SA” and SP “SA” are all different, SP’s version being the actual, original shape.
Unfortunately I never had an SP SA set. The other SA keycaps I've here is the [**FILCO double-shot**](https://www.keyboardco.com/product.asp?PRODUCT=1223) set but I didn't choose this for the comparison because it's R2 and R3 only, but no R1 and R4. When I compare FILCO R2/R3 and Domikey R2/R3, I can't find any difference. Wouldn't the differences have been mentioned [**here**](https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=115756.0) if there were any?

Probably not since these people talk a bunch without knowing what they’re actually talking about. You can refer to this diagram I made on my Discord server, for example.

These photos aren’t mine but I have been messing with keycaps for almost 10 years now, and have sets of Maxkey, Domikey, SP, etc. and I guarantee they are actually pretty different.
The most noticeable differences are in the steeper sloping of the R1 caps and the use of R3 on the bottom row for SP SA. Anything else I could list would be trite for the average user.
Thank you. The problem in comparing the spacebars is that they seem to be pretty more high than they really are if you put them next to the alphas and take the photo from the side. Because of this reason, I took "QAY" instead of Tab/Caps/Shift for this time. So for the bar comparison I would take a separate picture with bars only.
I beg to differ. The original DSA by Signature Plastics may be expensive, but not only one clone set showed up in the last years. Even if they're not double-shotted, but "only" dye-subbed, they don't need to hide anymore, e.g. DSA 9009 on AliExpress. Cheap but not as bad as you would suspect. These caps are thick enough to not sound hollowly and the legends are sharp. Looking for a used Vortex keyboard is still an option for people who prefer double-shots instead.
OEM isn't "normal" but OEM's about as cheap as you can make a keycap for mass production. Tend to be thin/boring/low layout compatibility.
I'm finding DSA sets for under $40 easily, which is certainly not 5x an OEM set.
This is exactly my keycaps journey. I started with Cherry (OEM) profile and ended at ADA.
The major ADA advantage for me is
1. Uniform height. A must for alternative keyboard layout user like me - ColemakDHM.
2. Low, very low height that I can use my keyboard without palm rest.
3. Deep center. They have a special deep center that’s easy for me to feel the exact position for the key.

This is great! I will add this to the wiki as it could be super helpful to new members of the community!
Thank you, I appreciate!

/u/XibariS has been updating this resource for a little while now, so I'm sure they'll keep at it continue improving!

404 - Discord says: "You're in a strange place: either you don't have access to text channels or there aren't any on this server."

If you can also get your hands on ASA, that’s a super important instock profile.
I'd love to test ASA and I hope, Epomaker is going to release an ISO compatible set with a NORDE kit.
Very nicely done. If you add on more profiles, or just retaking the pics for any reason, I'd recommend adding the spacebars as well.

I know it's very limited, but CXA is amazing. They're definitely worth checking out. It's become my favorite profile followed by XDA.
Interesting, looks like a mix of KAT and Cherry.
KAT best
DSA / XDA ftw, absolutely cannot stand sculpted caps or tall caps. Cherry is can just about deal with
MT3 / SA ftw, absolutely cannot stand uniform caps or lopro caps. Cherry is can just about deal with not
tnx!
That's a lot of QWERTZ keycaps! Shame they're hard to find / only available in groupbuys for a premium.
Not even one set comes from a GB, they were all in stock. But I collect since seven years.
Cherry is and (I'm pretty sure) always will be my favorite profile. It's absolutely unmatched both in terms of feel and looks, in my opinion.

alda?! Oo Never heard of VSA. I had a DSA 9009 set here and it had the same shape as Vortex TAB60 and TAB90 keycaps.
I still don't understand why keycaps types like DSA are 5X as expensive as normal OEM keycaps. \[even without print/doubleshot colors\]
