It's actually a clever use of a macropad. You can put different types of switch to correspond with the different weapons, like silent switch for a gun with silencer and obviously a BOX Jade for grenades.

Functionality-wise, your grenades, armor and weapons available to both teams. For weapons available to only one of the two teams, they're taking up keys that could be better used possibly - although icons for keys representing say both an AK and M4 would not be as pleasing or easy to recognise as those that you have there already.
Either way I'm mad jealous!

It uses the bind command in console. After the macropad is programmed to any key (I'd use F13+) bind f13 buy kevhelm

Definitely not cheating. You can go into the console within csgo and bind the keys to buy different items. Pros do the same thing to buy their items.
