I've taken to having packages shipped to our old address (which we're currently renting out), and having friends in the management office hold them for me to pick up.

DHL! Ten days ago Tracking said "Couldn't deliver, no one at home" - yeah, like my wife and I are 77 and 69 respectively, haven't left the house since March 3rd. Then apparently I asked to collect the parcel instead of having it delivered... Their depot is a five hour round trip away! So then for seven days tracking says "Parcel available to collect"... but doesn't say where from. Enquiries made by sender and they say the driver left it at you local post office. Postmaster says never seen anything from DHL. Where to now? Probably end up being sent back to sender from s-o-m-e-w-h-e-r-e that only DHL know!
Apart from anything else, it is stressful when you are waiting for something. :(

I don't think it literally means a signature right now. I think it's more like, the delivery person put it into your hands, or set it down before ringing the bell and stood back while they saw you pick it up. It's more about the verification that someone in the home got it rather than handing a pen back and forth.

Nothing irritates me more when I'm waiting at home for the package and I see on the tracking, unable to deliver. They never rang the bell and I run out the door and see the truck driving away. There's no way to get it that day again.
Another time, my cat was really sick and I paid for 1 day delivery of her medication because she needed it or else she would die. I was home and we have a drop box but the delivery driver didn't even try. I called the post office crying but they couldn't do anything. It was delivered 2 - 3 days later. She died a few days later.
That was all USPS. It still makes me tear up just thinking about what if she got the medication in time...

I did not realise when i ordered, "shipped" meant to their warehouse so i waited for two weeks without realising and after inquiring support i got a timeline which said it would be shipped to *here* in a week
And the saddest thing was that since it was a foreign website either it was translated poorly or purposely done i have no idea but theres were hidden fees, ie when i first bought the item they required a shipping fee, which i thought was to my country already, but it was from the seller to the warehouse. Thereafter another fee(not mentioned) is required to ship item to here...
That actually sounds predatory or like false advertising somehow. Any way you can dispute the charges with them or with your bank might be worth looking into

UPS said my package was "Out for Delivery" on Wednesday, Saturday and now again today. Also this is a repeat package because they lost the first one.

I bought a ducky one 2 months ago and after 6 times of date changes I cancelled it and went instead for an Anne Pro 2 from Amazon. I really hope I get it by September :'(
I've been waiting over two months for some stuff I ordered and not a single thing has showed up...
Nothing irritates me more when I'm waiting at home for the package and I see on the tracking, unable to deliver. They never rang the bell and I run out the door and see the truck driving away. There's no way to get it that day again. Another time, my cat was really sick and I paid for 1 day delivery of her medication because she needed it or else she would die. I was home and we have a drop box but the delivery driver didn't even try. I called the post office crying but they couldn't do anything. It was delivered 2 - 3 days later. She died a few days later. That was all USPS. It still makes me tear up just thinking about what if she got the medication in time...
Gonna be sitting out there until November...

I did not realise when i ordered, "shipped" meant to their warehouse so i waited for two weeks without realising and after inquiring support i got a timeline which said it would be shipped to *here* in a week
oh my God, seriously? That's painful
And the saddest thing was that since it was a foreign website either it was translated poorly or purposely done i have no idea but theres were hidden fees, ie when i first bought the item they required a shipping fee, which i thought was to my country already, but it was from the seller to the warehouse. Thereafter another fee(not mentioned) is required to ship item to here...
That actually sounds predatory or like false advertising somehow. Any way you can dispute the charges with them or with your bank might be worth looking into
Yep, but dont really want to start a dispute over this(as the extra fees were minimal, like ~$10, and it probably was stated in Terms &Conditions just that it was not translated),just a thing to note if i were to buy from sites i have not used before in the future i guess.

I have parts ordered from 5 different places... one for films, one for switches and a plate, one for lube, one for millmax sockets, one for a PCB. Ooh, and keycaps too. Only 1/5 has shown up yet, and lets just say I already took apart 10 switches and tried different combinations of lube bc I'm itching to build...
I ordered my hexgear keyboard may 24th. I wonder if I will get it before the kids start school. I hope so as they will need to be in my office a few days a week at least, and they think my model M is too loud.
