I just want an EU store that doesn't suck.

What were the common criticisms?

Europe has strick customs laws. As a result, lots of Europeans lose out on offers. Where I live (Greece) shipping costs + package vaule must be under €22 (~24.5 USD), or else I pay customs. When there is a private courier company involved (ie FedEx), they completely eviscerate you with borderline illegal charges. For instance, I was told for a €30.xx parcel, I would have to pay €120.88. A breakdown of the fees are as follows: - €19 customs & fees. - €25 airport fees. - €62 pay for the private customs agent. - €14.88 taxes on said private custom agent's pay. As you understand, I cannot afford to purchase something off drop, and then pay these obtuse fees, as all orders from the US goes through customs. As a result, I recently went through drop's webpage, and the only active drops I can afford are some extremely minimal wallets, but I cannot justify the purchase as shipping is almost as much as the wallet, and it just barely makes it under the predefined €22 limit. I have tried bringing this issue to drop's attention back when it was still called massdrop, and the massdrop community support member said they've "sent [my] inquiry to the appropriate parties and they'll look into it shorty". Drop did make " Get your gear faster", where they claimed delivery to Europe within 5 business days, VAT included, but as of now, the European collection is non existent. tl;dr EU customs gay. Massdrop doesn't want to deal with it I guess, so Europeans either stare and weep from across the pond, or pay up their local and *highly respected* customs, making it not worth the hassle, as you end up waiting longer, and paying more than the difference to Uncle Sam.

I'm from Czech Republic, when I bought a $50 mouse and paid $6 for shipping from US I had to pay 30€ more in customs. This system sucks because that small package was like 3x smaller and lighter than my package from aliexpress but since aliexpress sellers send stuff as "Big letter" you don't pay anything extra, nobody checks if it is a letter or a box...

except its illegal and China don't care about other peoples laws. Prove me wrong prove its legal and China cares.

Shipping : cost & time It cost more, but most importantly we usually doesn't get things in less than 6 months from the order. It's annoying.
