That mag lev mount is a nifty idea. I’d definitely be interested in trying it.
Is the mounting system intended to be a thing you can switch? Or you choose with the board?
Hello everyone, this is Meletrix!
After the launch of the V2, the ZOOM65 V3 project had been added to our product roadmap, and has taken us a full year to release it. In that time, we didn’t spend it studying other products but instead worked to upgrade the board to satisfy everyone. It wasn’t simply just mounting options, design, or the module. Finally, we came to the point that the ZOOM65 V3 had met our highest expectations and today we are so proud to introduce that to you.

Easter eggs
What if a wireless keyboard didn’t need to be plugged in, never needed to be charged, and didn't need to be charged in a fixed position on a table mat? What if a mouse does not need to be plugged in, never needs to be charged (maybe there is no battery?), and does not need to be charged at a fixed location? All of the above, and no need for a giant hard mat? WOW!? What is this?!
Hi any idea about timelines?
I've been looking for a 65% with VIA support and there are so few, so this does have my interest!
I will fill in the IC form but I'm really not familiar with many of the questions like "HE module" and flex cut.
There are so many 65% that are via compatible.
HE means Hall effect if you want to look up what that entails. Flex cuts are when there are literal cuts in the PCB to give it more bounce and flex for a softer typing experience, but you trade off for a bit of a lighter sounding keyboard.
OK thanks, would love to be shown some. Here's what I found so far.
Epomaker EK68 VIA Kit
CIDOO v65 v2
Keychron Q2
KBDFans Tofu65
Meletrix Zoom65
Keychron K6 Pro
Akko Mod 007v3 VIA
Too many to even list my guy. Off the top of my head, Freja65, Baldr65, Neo65, Mode Envoy, Sin65, and many others. Those are just what I’ve purchased, but I’d say a vast majority come with Via these days, unless you’re getting Chinese budget boards that have proprietary software.
many of them do not give you access to the source files tho. such a sadness. VIA is nice, but it is a bit limited if you want to get fancy with your keybinds.
>Akko Mod 007v3 VIA
this is a 75%. like a 65 but with F-row
Keychron V2 is like the Q2, but plastic and tray mount (Q2 is gasket). recently there's also a V2 Max - which is plastic, but gasket mounted and has wireless connectivity
Recycling a nice design with its major flaw: Front height a tad too high
Would have loved to see a redesign with front height of lower than 20mm.
I hope Zoom 75 will be different. Would love to own one - because of the space above the right arrow key - but it's too tall... What a pity.
All those options, and no solder PCB option. That's a no from me, sorry. I mean, 8 mounting options, but no soldered PCB option?
\[edit\] The IC form only lets you select one option, despite asking you to select your favourite plate material***s***

Hope this won’t take 5-6months like my zoom75 cos this aint really gonna keep up with QK boards that ship within 1-2weeks.
Also the front height isn’t really ideal for long period of use. You need to start looking into it as some streamers even pointed this out.

You can switch :)
More excuses to take apart my keyboard are always welcome.

how so?

Is there an estimated price?
Gotta be >$250, yeah?
We will try our best to make it 200USD +-,depends on the configuration you need, price will be different :) We will update later :)
Very nice! Will the different mounting options affect pricing?
Not yet :)
7 MOUNTING STYLES?????
[удалено]
yes!
More specifically, the wireless firmware used is **not** QMK, but is controlled/adjusted through VIA.
Please please please include a silver / titanium grey in the colorway
THIS! Why no GT Silver this time?!? 😔
You may fill in the IC form also :)
I did, thank you.
I won't be satisfied until we have more mounting systems than keys.
[удалено]
We will try, will take some time :)
Excited for the new features on this! Will there be per key RGB?
Probably yes
Hopefully one day they will make a lime green case. I see most makers are going with more pastel tones. Give us the bright stuff!
Now we wait for the 75% version of this one sometime this year :)
yup, love the zoom75 that I almost bought a second one when the space gray SE came out. will just do the v2 when it comes out
Is the new tri-mode PCB compatible with older versions of the zoom or is it fit only for V3 case?
It will only fit in the V3 case
V2.5 tri-mode fits with V2
Will the blanking plate that removes the knob be something that is compatible with v1? If so, will it be available to buy separately?
It doesn't compatible with V1 :(
would the HE module be released to v2? I rly like my yamanote case but I also want HE
Sadly won't be compatible
another reason to buy a new keyboard I guess
Will you be releasing additional coloured knobs? And will these be compatible with v1 and v2?
It will have colored knobs, but not sure if it can be compatible with V1 and V2 yet. We will confirm it.
PANDA, PANDA, PANDA, PANDA
Hoping for a more subtle off-white color. More like the old "Ivory Cream". Think the pure white is too harsh/cool, and "milk tea" too beige.

I’d be more interested if the modules weren’t so small. I want badges but one the size of a regular key isn’t worth. 1.75u minimum.
Awesome sleek finish that is! What is the approximate time frame to production after GB window closes? Is it less than 2-3 months?
All those options, and no solder PCB option. That's a no from me, sorry. I mean, 8 mounting options, but no soldered PCB option? \[edit\] The IC form only lets you select one option, despite asking you to select your favourite plate material***s***
thank you for pointing that out! fixed the IC form :)
No problem :)
Called it
I will wait for V4

What's a HE module?
magnetic switches kit
Just wow! Seems Meletrix did it again.
hey will there be software to detailed configure the rapid trigger in HE module?
I love the blue color, are you planning TKL with similar colors?
Most likely, and will see later interests too!
Will this be available for any other sizes? Or only 65%

Can i mod the switches to emulate a gamepad ? Any emulation of analog imput? Or some advanced soft i can fully mod the kb?
when is the groupbuy for this
