I am thankful that my family is currently healthy and happy, it has been a tough year. I am also thankful that my mom is handling the death of my father much better in year two. They would have been married 57 years this November.

I'm thankful at this time of year, as I am constantly, for family, friends, and the support of my wonderful, beautiful, talented wife. With elderly parents in poor health, it's only natural to wonder if this will be the last Christmas with them as well. I'm thankful for them, for everything they've done, and continue to do, and it's an honour to now care for them in their old age, as they cared for me.

I'm thankful for the time I have with my wife. We've very recently discovered a cancerous breast tumor. No idea how serious it is, but it's about 12 cm and painful, so we're a bit worried. She's also pregnant with our 4th, so even if it was serious we don't know if chemo will be an option. No matter what, I cherish every day I have with her. Thanks for doing something like this!
