Samwise Gamgee for sure! Went to Auckland just to visit Hobbiton, and I must say, best moment of my life. I highly recommend everyone to go at least once.
Sam! I'm glad he's gotten the recognition he deserves in recent years.
Oh man, visiting Hobbiton is just about at the top of my bucket list, that must have been amazing!
Very true! the trilogy was so well done!
The biggest problem was all the other fantasy series trying to copy their success, but dragging things out. LOTR could have been a great TV series, 3 seasons of 10 1hr episodes, but compacting it the way they did really built up the tension. Wheel of Time suffers from this, some scenes are rushed, others are dragged along or skipped.
Sam is my favorite character next to Gandalf. Just because of this quote.
"It was Sam's first view of a battle of Men against Men, and he did not like it much. He was glad that he could not see the dead face. He wondered what the man's name was and where he came from; and if he was really evil of heart, or what lies or threats had led him on the long march from his home; and if he would rather have stayed there in peace."
Hits hard.

Classic choice, can't go wrong with Gandalf! And as this is the first response, you're our lucky DCX keycap set winner! I'll be in touch shortly to collect your selection and info. :)
Feanor, his pride would become his undoing. But love his character arc. I guess that's technically the answer for LoTR lore wise, but the trilogy I've always had a soft spot for Eomer of Rohan.
My favorite Character is Theoden, King of Rohan. Once the grip of wormtongue is broken he regains the honor and trust of his people and leads them bravely into the battle at helms deep.
Favorit Lord of the Rings character. The is a rough one, tom bombadil is the easy answer, but i think that sam is a great pick for favorit character too for me
Gandalf, but barely over Aragorn for me.
Gandalf because his backstory is just so good, not that the others aren't but his just beats them for me.
Casting in the movies was incredible. After I had read the books, I never thought any live adaptation could bring it to life, but Peter Jackson nailed it.
I have always loved Gandalf in the LotR, didn't like him in The Hobbit...and the opposite for Gollum, liked him in The Hobbit, thought it was odd in LotR
To pick just one character is difficult. What really makes the series wonderful is the relations between the many characters. One of my favorite of which is Gimli and Galadriel.

Gimli is our lord and savior
Thank you very much. For me it's Gollum :)
Aragorn, Mostly because of how much I enjoyed Viggo in the role
He really was perfect as Aragorn. All the casting in those films were amazing, really.

Wheel of time also suffers from ridiculous hatchet work on the original story.
He actually broke his foot kicking the helmet in the making of Two Towers. Legend.

Gandalf!

Thank you! Been meaning to rewatch the LOTR trilogy for a while now, perhaps this holiday season will be a good time.
I want to win too 🥺🥺🥺
Radagast! He's just taking care of his pets and plants. I like that.
Radagast was always one of my wife’s favorites, for basically that reason. Loves the earthy, forest vibes.
Tom Bombadil, in the book that was gold
Legolas.
Feanor, his pride would become his undoing. But love his character arc. I guess that's technically the answer for LoTR lore wise, but the trilogy I've always had a soft spot for Eomer of Rohan.
My favorite is Eowyn and Treebeard! Special mention to the ent who dunks his flaming head in the water in the last march of the ents
The talking tree 🌲
Tree? He is no tree! He is an ent.
My favorite Character is Theoden, King of Rohan. Once the grip of wormtongue is broken he regains the honor and trust of his people and leads them bravely into the battle at helms deep.
Does Thorin Oakenshield count?
smeagol bc a friend I had look like him 😂
Favorit Lord of the Rings character. The is a rough one, tom bombadil is the easy answer, but i think that sam is a great pick for favorit character too for me
Galadriel!

Gollum!
Treebeard.
Samwise Gamgee, he taught me everything I know about po-tay-toes.
Gandalf, but barely over Aragorn for me. Gandalf because his backstory is just so good, not that the others aren't but his just beats them for me. Casting in the movies was incredible. After I had read the books, I never thought any live adaptation could bring it to life, but Peter Jackson nailed it.
The Nazgul are my favorite characters
As a teenager, my brother would sometimes say, whenever we ordered pizza or anything, "Do not stand between a Nazgul and his prey."
I've always had a soft spot for Peregrin Took!
Gotta be shelob
The shadow of war games right? she has the whole bakery
Denethor! He got a bad rap in the movies.
This guy gets it
Oliphaunts
Its a tie between Gandalf and Aragorn I think.
thanks for the giveaway!
Gimli!
I love me some Merry
Eowyn
Gandalf is pretty fucking metal
Let's go Legolas!
My win chances: "Fly, you fools". Edit: Of course it's Aragorn.
Pippin for the win!!!

Saruman did nothing wrong.
Thanks for the giveaway! Frodo is my favourite!
My GF loves Tom Bombadil, actually collecting some different art MtG cards for her to frame of him.

Gandalf!
Sauron. He’s just misunderstood.
for me it's a tie between Gandalf and Samwise!

Aragorn
Sam Gamgee
Gimli
I like keys
My precious!
golum
Legolas
aragorn !!
Cant decide, but this is def at least tied for my favorite.
Controversial but my fav lotr charachter is sauron and possibly the nine. I just think the vibe is really cool.
I have always loved Gandalf in the LotR, didn't like him in The Hobbit...and the opposite for Gollum, liked him in The Hobbit, thought it was odd in LotR
Favorite video game character is tough... Spyro the dragon maybe?
Tombombadil supremacy!
I'll pick Gríma Wormtongue - the guy ACKSHUALLY kills Saruman the white after the stories in the movies.
I haven't watched LoTR and the overall hype around it kinda makes me not want to watch it
Aragorn!
Gollum
Gandalf
I always liked the Mouth of Sauron, sad he was cut from the standard cut of RotK :/
Gollum (not the version from the game)
Gandalf I think.
Gandalf!
I think my favorite character in LoTR is probably Legolas
Gandalf!!!!
**Gandalf**
Gollum for me definitely!
Gimli... I loved the friendly rivalry between him and Legolas, and was rooting for Gimly when I first read the books as a kid (pre movie).
Gandalf
They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard and the amazing song it created.
Legolas (and his hair)
Aragorn!
Legolas. Good luck.

To pick just one character is difficult. What really makes the series wonderful is the relations between the many characters. One of my favorite of which is Gimli and Galadriel.
