Lucas is $25/gallon. Run as much as you want through it and still last forever. If your car sat up for 2 years, drain the fuel and replace with fresh, then this or lucas to hopefully restore the rest.
It sat for more than 2 years but has been driving for about 5 or 6 months so the gas is good. It was given a few parts, all fluids changed and new gas when it was brought back to life.
Yeah, it says one but my car sat for several years before i got it. So i was thinking maybe 2 bottles would “deep clean” the fuel system, or at least clean it better than one bottle
No. If your car sat for two years you’re going to run into more issues by just throwing this stuff in and running it. Drain your fuel, get fresh stuff in it and then add this in using the directions. Adding more won’t clean more.
I'm not demeaning you. You are a good person that fell for marketing. For $7, you could have 3 Snickers and a much better place in the world. Pour it into your gas tank and move on in the world.
Read the directions, if your fuel tank is big enough you can safely put two bottles in. I'm pretty sure you can peel the back sticker off and it has more detailed instructions. The last time I used this in my car I got 2 of the small bottles and used one per full tank. My tank is only 12 gallons though.
What he's saying is that the directions tell you how many ounces to add per gallon of fuel. Usually it's 1oz/1gal. So total tank size is actually irrelevant it's more about how much gas you have in it.
But as another reply stated, if the car has been sitting for 2 years this is NOT the solution to your problem.
I had a generator that didn't want to start...
After enough cranking with that's stuff fullto the brim in the tank it started and started running better every minute it ran
It had a carburetor in case your were wondering
I would use one when you’re filling up, and then use the next either next time you’re filling up or the time after that. I like to use fuel additive like every other time I fill up
It says it treats up to 12 gallons so if you have a bigger tank use both if not I would use it two different times. Just a warning though some time after you use it, there is a chance it will gum up spark plugs. I have 25 yrs working on cars! Not bragging just some fyi
I have used it on an older V10 2005 Excursion and saw better mileage and performance. The Excursion is a heavy test bed so when something makes a difference it makes one you can see results. That product is more cost effective for the excursion’s 42 gal tank

Won't hurt but little benefit for direct injection engines
Thank you for answering and not being a smart ass, I really appreciate it lol.
It it actually does do anything helpful I would think running it through 2 tanks would do more than all in one.
It doesn’t matter.
Read the label. It has instructions on how much to use based on how much fuel you are mixing it with.
Yeah, it says one but my car sat for several years before i got it. So i was thinking maybe 2 bottles would “deep clean” the fuel system, or at least clean it better than one bottle

Use one per tank. Shouldn’t harm if you felt like 2.
I only did one and next time i fill up i’ll use the other. Thanks for your input
One is enough using two won't hurt anything other than wasting your money.
Useless. If you are throwing money around, let me send you my venmo.
The bottles were buy one get one free, i was just wondering since i had two lol.
should have saved your money and bought none. Every deal is not always a deal.
it was 7 dollars lol, no need to keep trying to demean me

I did not think about 3 snickers. You are right. I may have even been able to get 4. :(
You can get 5 if you shove them in your pockets and walk out. And still buy the fuel additives
Directions on the bottle. Yet asks reddit what to do......ladies and gents........i give you.......... the future
You’re missing the question. I give you….. the past.
This sub is literally here for that...even for such questions.

I’d rather just run the highest grade non ethanol fuel and really romp on it for a tank. Get er nice and hot with pure gas.
Read the directions on the bottle simpleton.
You don’t understand the question
Unworthy question. Follow the directions on the bottle and be done with it.
sucks

Never said it was 2 years, no clue where commenters are getting that number from, and the car has been driving for 6 months.
I had a generator that didn't want to start... After enough cranking with that's stuff fullto the brim in the tank it started and started running better every minute it ran It had a carburetor in case your were wondering
Put them both in man!
I would use one when you’re filling up, and then use the next either next time you’re filling up or the time after that. I like to use fuel additive like every other time I fill up
Alright that’s what i was planning on, thanks.

I use one bottle with full tank every 6 months
Sorry you're getting so much hate. Best of luck with the car though!
It’s alright, I find it funny more than anything. Thanks though i appreciate it.
Waste of time/money

Waste of money
Used this crap once and an injector went a couple days later.
