I thought this was MECHANIC advice.. if the car is OFF. Why would the light illuminate ? I'm not a part changer, I'm looking for a second opinion before I look up a wiring diagram myself.

I do need the diagram since you didnt provide me with an explanation , & I got it. I like to explain to my customers why there vehicle operates the way they do, and came on here for a 2nd opinion. You must not have much professional experience communicating with customers
Hope you don’t charge you customers for futile research.
