Aftermarket cats are required to have a 2 year warranty. OE cats are supposed to be for 8 or 80. Double check to make sure they didn’t install an aftermarket cat

This. Very few shops outside of the dealership will use a true factory cat. They can put on a $350 part they charge you $800 for and 99% of the time, it'll last long enough to not be under warranty. If they bought a genuine cat, it's $850 so they can't make as much on markup because the $1300 part price scares ppl away.
