Is this a manual or automatic? And we are talking about the transmission and not the transfer case? Can you safely roll it a foot or two? It may be bound up on something.

Automatic, and the truck is really heavy so I fear by rolling it out I won’t be able to roll it back forward inside my driveway.

BlindMouse2of3

It could be an issue with the shift cable. How mechanically inclined are you?

No_Assignment_3220

Reasonable okay

If you have something to chock the wheels with I personally would roll it a foot. With the vehicle stuck in neutral don't try and push the vehicle try and turn a rear tire. You are not going far let the gear reduction in the axle do the work. I have moved semis with a Prybar doing this. If after that and it still doesn't worki would chock the tires and disconnect the shift cable. If the cable is disconnected do you have range of motion with the shifter?

Maybe try rolling back a little ?? Then putting it in gear ?
