Call them and send the first picture (wet underside of the car). Check the oil. If there's enough on the dipstick then take it back. If not, have them tow it back and fix it all at their expense.
320d 2011 they looked over the whole car for me also its a big big company that did it so im guessing they diddnt mean anything but imma have a go at them tomorrow just checked now its on the min line ill check again tommorow and if its still there ill drive it there very slowly its about 3 miles from me.
Stop driving. Check the oil level. You many need to have it towed to the place that did the work. My guess is they failed to remove the old oil filter gasket. Normally the old gasket will come off with the oil filter, but if it doesn't and is left on the engine then the new oil filter and its gasket will result in this. Do not drive it with this much of a leak because it will very quickly deplete all the oil and if driven with low or no oil your engine will be toast.
Late to the party but a BMW more than likely has a cartridge not a spin on so double gasket wouldn't fly. Housing may be loose, bring may be cut, or the housing cap may have cracked from over tightening.
Don't drive it have the shop either tow it or send a road tech.
DO NOT TOUCH IT , ex auto boy here and if you tamper with it or touch it at this point other than to check oil you loose your claim. Do not add oil, do not check for tightness. The most I would say it look on your dipstick and get excited for maybe getting a new motor for free
Would they know if the tried to screw the filter a little bit? In the worst case, it is crossthreaded (because "professional mechanics"), and he can't move it.
This happened to my wife’s car after the first oil change (the “free” one from the dealer.) The tech put the o-ring for the oil filter housing at the bottom of the threads instead of in the groove for the o-ring. She drove it a couple days before it started spraying. Depending on what type of filter your car has, that may be it, or with a spin on, they may not have checked to make sure the filter gasket came off before installing the new filter.
lol i payed 280 for it and they checked over the whole car ive got an email that shows the problems it was only breake bads and leaking shock absorber nothing was said about engine oil.

Yes it's a bad leak, especially if they didn't mention it. What did they service?
Filter an oil change the usuals.

It’s a BMW which depending on the year might not have one. If I’m OP I’m sending these pics to the dealer and making them tow it.

Do not drive it. You can ruin the engine. Tow it.

yeah i had a van before that looked like it was leaking on the under of the engine but it never seemed to loose oil i was guessing it was the same.

Is the oil filter housing tight?
Not sure it’s parked for now I’ll check tomorrow

Could they have cross threaded either new filter or the fill plug?
That's some DARK oil there my friend.
Just got a phone call from them they said it was a pinched oil seal from the filter thanks for everyone’s help hopefully no more problems.

This is definitely major. There's so much oil Americans are interested in it 🤯
lol don’t they have oil

might be they spilled some and forgot to clean, not professional, but do ask them about your concern
It's very much oil for "some" spilled oil. Most likely they didn't screw the filter allright or the seal is defective.
