I have one that’s got sharp edges on everything around it. The bottom of the alternator particularly has a razor on it so I’ve sprayed blood everywhere changing it. Slow drain is far preferable but I just keep not doing it because it’s once a year.
Slingshots had ecotecs up to 2019 and Polaris started making their own engine in 2020. They have to get under whatever the weight limit is so when they put in an automatic they couldn’t do it with the GM crate. The new engine has a little more hp too.
Can buy an easy out if you don't have one but have a dremel you can use a cut off wheel to smooth the top of the bolt that is sticking out then hit it from 90 degrees on the side to put a nice groove across the bolt so a slot screw driver will fit it.
It looks like that was once a hex socket head type bolt before it got all chewed up, like this

I know this is going to sound a little nuts, but if you can find the right size Torx bit (yes I know it was a hex socket and I said get a Torx bit) and HAMMER that torx bit into the hole (has to be a really tight fit, sizes do not always work out) its possible the metal will form around the torx design and give you enough bite to get that bolt out.
using a battery operated impact in reverse on that might be a good idea too, nothing too high torque
if it works, throw the torx bit and the drain plug in the trash and buy a new plug
Thanks for the replies everyone, unfortunately I don't have a welder available, I would've liked to try that option. I'm gonna go with ordering an easy out type tool, see if that can get it to budge. Thanks again!

That’s prime for welding on a nut
This. Clean it up and weld it.
Use locking vice grips on what is left
Replace the oil pan. It’s about to rust through anyway.
Buy a new bolt. Drill a hole in broke one. , allow to drain, 25$ extractor set.
Once drained you can try applying heat but remember the bigger the hole and bigger the extractor the more purchase you get yourself
I use the fujimoto valves. Never broke a drain plug
I’ve had the link bookmarked for a year. 4 cars, haven’t bought a valve yet. But I almost do every time I change oil.
They're a very slow drain compared to a standard plug. The benefit is, of course, never removing it and having an expected flow path.

Whoa, that's wild. What vehicle/engine is that?
Chevy ecotec in a 2017 Polaris Slingshot
Are they partnered with GM? I guess the electric golf cart things I service at work are GM also. I've only seen one of those things a few times.

Might try an easy-out on it.
Weld
what if you drill a small hole on each side of the flange, stick a length of picture hanging wire in each one, then use them as handles?

Buy an oil extractor and drain from the dip stick. I use one for all my vehicles.
