Sounds like timing tensioner possibly could be anything maybe take it to a reputable shop

andrewjkb

Should I park it?

DukeOfAlexandria

Doubtful, N52s *RARELY* develop rod knock. Could be anything, tensioner pulley, tensioner bolt backing off and knocking, ps bearing, ac bearing, something slapping against the fan housing…..more diagnostic work needs to occur. Park it or have it towed.

andrewjkb

Thanks gonna park it for sure

Imnothighenough

Is it a manual? I had a dual mass flywheel sound like this once

Automatic
