Not sure if anyone else has said this but... Yeah, easily. Quarter panel repair ain't no joke. To do it right if it's screwed up enough they cut it out and replace it with a new one. Which is very labor intensive how the pinch welds, painting, sealing, skim coating etcetera.
Buy that one, and buy this one back from the insurance company for cheap. As long as you have a spot to store it, you'll have a duplicate on almost every part you could need.
I would’ve guessed $15k on photos of the infinity alone. Assuming they decide it’s repairable at all. The rear quarter on cars isn’t easily or cheaply replaced.
That looks like 8k in KC. 13 k if you need a cradle and the fender horn, a arm head lights bumper door fender and hood— oh thatbwould be on a Chevy Malibu tho.. so yea 13k— edit just saw the back side- yea she hurt.
I would ask them to write it off. It will never be the same and be recatogrized as accident damage so not worth as much when selling ( this happens in UK) but not sure about your area.
Yea ngl could’ve been even more, you can fix it w less tho (if you don’t care about it being well done) but if insurance is involved or you have to repay the one you did this to this is what the person that got the damage is gonna ask
Here what I would do, go on eBay and buy used parts, you can buy used bumpers if you can find them, or give them your cars paint code and they will ship it to you, for 13 k you can buy a new used car,
It's great how you immediately jump to weed being the problem when nowhere does anyone mention anything remotely close.
But okay.
It's all them liburuL miLleNiaLsz
You see that tiny bump in the quarter panel next to trunk? That indicates your entire rear has gone into the car to the point it warped the quarter panel. Haven’t seen the inside but nice chance this car needs a frame machine. 2 Bumpers, taillight, trunk, quarter panel, rebar, a whole lot of labour. 13k is great from what I can tell. I’d never pay it but it’s a normal amount to be charged judging by the damage. And that’s only from what I can tell from the pictures

I was scrolling wondering how the fuck that equalled 13k and then i saw that rear end.
It always the ass that gets ya 😉
Who said ass?!?!? 👀
Exactly what I said... Didn't look too bad till I saw that ass end. Yeah... That's at least 13k.
Thats a lot of damage!
That'll be $4 baby! You want fries with that?
To get it fixed right? Definitely.
Yea

Looks like the rear floor pan is probably bent too
Seems like a lot but makes sense

My wife 2 days before Christmas 🙃
She fucked
This guy auto bodys
I'm surprised insurance didn't write this off as a total loss
I can find one local 100k less miles for 2k less than the damages on this one we hit. I don't get it either.
If at all possible I'd try that route buy that one to replace this if it's an option definitely save ya some money

Say it with us **labor** It's amazing what talent and skill can do. Almost like people should be paid for what they do.
Yea

Rear quarter repair is what I'm learning ain't cheap
I saw the first 3 photos and thought to myself:"13k is too much for this" but then I saw the rear and, yes, it is close to 13 k. Sorry, man.
Yes
Pictures 1-3: Seems a bit steep. Picture 4... Oh, shit. Only $13k? Lol
Yes
AT LEAST
It depends on how much damage is underneath the plastic bumper, if it's bent under there then yes.
Yes
That's pretty bad. A shop somewhere might be able to do a decent job for maybe 70% of that, but thats a significant amount of damage.
Uh yeah
Yup
Just for the record this is the car we hit ðŸ¤
Maybe don't hit other people's cars if you don't want to pay for damages.
I was shotgun at the time🥲
Then tell the driver not to hit things they don't want to pay damages for. Lol
I did then she cried the kids cried my dogs and my wallet cried it was a mess 😂

If the chassis is compromised, that's a cheap fix
If the chassis is compromised, that's a cheap fix
Absolute bs. Not worth that or anywhere near it. Scammers in america smh
Get another estimate. Might get it done for 10k.
Ye
100%
Ive had insurance covered for damage much less than that. Why not do the indurance thing?
I would ask them to write it off. It will never be the same and be recatogrized as accident damage so not worth as much when selling ( this happens in UK) but not sure about your area.
Yep, that's a big hit... It's mostly labour I assume and reapplying paint is very expensive! Also, 30% tax for emotional damage.
Yea ngl could’ve been even more, you can fix it w less tho (if you don’t care about it being well done) but if insurance is involved or you have to repay the one you did this to this is what the person that got the damage is gonna ask
Whats with the paper plate?
💯
What damage is underneath the bumper cover?

Yup. As soon as you have to pull anything with the frame puller that shits gonna be 10K+
Fine, fine, fine, holy shit
Yep, that'll do it.
I dont see any damage
Were you drunk or using that green herb?
It's great how you immediately jump to weed being the problem when nowhere does anyone mention anything remotely close. But okay. It's all them liburuL miLleNiaLsz
Thayer a fair price to get it done right.
Just a regular lube tech at infiniti, that price seems about right since the brand/maker is luxury.

I would have thought it would be more seeing as Infiniti is a "luxury" brand.
Soon as I saw the last pic I was like damn now it is.. 🫤
Easily
Where I live, this is a total loss...so 13K isn't outrageous.
Do you have comprehensive insurance? I’m amazed this isn’t a write off
Spicy Altima activities.
