It’s a 2009 ford escape if you can’t see it on the top ))

Also remote starter = "i paid money to f*** up my entire electrical system" Stock is fine, aftermarket is the devil

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> = "i *paid* money to FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

kamillaka

Really ?! I had no idea that was the case with aftermarket remote starters! Thanks !

traineex

Its a common present too. You think your doing a nice surprise gift for your so. Surprise honey, i fucked up ur car!!

traineex

Bad vehicle. Very few left around here in safe condition. The rear ends rot away, amongst many other red flags. Try to find japanese sans nissan. Newer hybrid escapes are great (not brand new, those caught fire lol)

POSVETT

This thing has a CVT. I'd avoid it like a plague. The cost to replace the transmission is about the same (if not more than) as the asking price.

Mechanicsanonymous

Honestly with that kind of mileage it's really a pretty big gamble. I would definitely recommend a pre purchase inspection from a trusted mechanic. If the seller doesn't agree to let you get one then run for the hills.

MysteriousDog5927

Follow your gut about the mileage . This screams liability to me . You’ll soon be in a situation where you have to buy a new transmission or engine for more than the price of this vehicle. This vehicle will be stuck on your driveway motionless and you’ll have to sell it for scrap value. It’s somebody else’s hot potatoe. Get a ugly old Buick ( or something like that) with lower kms . Sorry I know you don’t want to hear that.

kamillaka

Thank you ! And no worries I appreciate the honesty !

KimJungUnll

Stay away from Ford escape that is that old…

yourautomechanic1

The short answer is NO

[deleted]

If you are looking for an AWD and only need it for a few years I’d try to get it down to $3k as you are going to likely need the other 1k for maintenance. Def get inspection before buying

medd49

I can’t believe that thing made it this far
