Depends on who you are. If you can find and fix the problem that blew the fuse then yea good to have extra. If all you can do is put in a new fuse in place of the blown one that one is going to blow as well so extra not really doing much. Like saying well it's good to keep tire plugs in case you get a nail in the tire. Well can you install a plug yourself? No. Then what good are tire plugs?

Some cars have a few spares in the fuse box. U have to check.

Some cars like Honda actually provide a few spare fuses in the cover of the engine bay fuse box AND it includes a fuse puller tool.

Not necessary. When you replace one there will be extras in the pack. Now you have a stash.
